Some vulnerability for you..

I hope this reminds you, that what you see on social media is a curated idea of someone’s life.

We all have our struggles.

The things we’re ashamed to talk about.

Don’t choose for it to define you, let it be a reminder of how capable you are. taken in Edmonton, Alberta by @brycemacarthur

Client Win 🥇

Huge milestone for my client Shannel here!

Want to know how we did it?

She’s a mother who was working part-time and is now transitioning into a full-time role, so we just focused on making good use of the time she has available.

Here’s exactly what we did:

1. Hitting the gym 3x per week with a program tailored to what she has access to for equipment.

2. Ordered a walking pad, so she can crush steps at home while she’s hanging out with her family.

3. Macros and resources so she understands how to fuel her body properly. While also still being able to enjoy takeout weekly with her family.

4. Checking in every week, so we are making informed decisions off data and not feelings.

Nothing insane, just the compounding effect of consistent effort.

Very proud of you, let’s keep pushing 👏👏 taken in Edmonton, Alberta by @brycemacarthur

I used to quit on myself the moment things got uncomfortable.

All-or-nothing felt safer than trying and failing slowly.

Structure forced me to stay.

To get uncomfortable.

To keep going when I wanted to disappear.

That’s how confidence was built.

If this feels familiar, you’re not broken.

You just need structure 🎯 taken in Edmonton, Alberta by @brycemacarthur

Another one to the list 🫡

Just wrapped up this monster course from @biolayne & @billcampbellphd through @cleanhealthfitnessinstitute

Was very impressed with how comprehensive this course was.

Covering: Interpretation of literature, hypertrophy principles, body composition optimization, nutrition strategies and supplementation guidelines.

Excited to take what I’ve learned and apply it with my clients 🙏 by @brycemacarthur

Weekly check in ✅

Weighed in at 170 lbs this morning.

This week marks the start of the next weight loss phase.

Nutrition:
• Daily Macros: 2,805kCals
• 30g of Fibre per Day
• 3-4L of Water per Day

Movement:
• Training 5x per Week
• Cardio 4x per Week
• 10k Steps per Day

Going through this process has really solidified the importance of a diet break.

How important it can be to prioritize your recovery, how to be strategic with the approach and ultimately be in a good position for your next phase.

Every phase has it’s purpose 🎯 taken in Edmonton, Alberta by @brycemacarthur

Weekly check in ✅

Last week of this diet break. Weighed in at 169.8 lbs this morning.

This week is a deload, so scaling back on training intensity and frequency.

Nutrition:
• 3,140kCals
• 30g of Fibre
• 3-4L of Water

Movement:
• Training 5x per Week
• Cardio 5x per Week
• 10k Steps per Day

Honestly it’s insane to me that I’ve managed to hold weight for about 5-weeks, while eating this amount of food.

Feeling mentally good and ready to keep pushing down 🤝 taken in Edmonton, Alberta by @brycemacarthur

Weekly check in ✅

Weighed in this morning at 169.2lbs, I can’t remember the last time I was in the 160’s 😅

Still currently rolling with the diet break, which my body is obviously responding very well to!

Nutrition:
• Daily Macros: 3,140kCals
• 3-4L of Water per Day

Movement:
• Training 5x per Week
• Cardio 5x per Week
• 10k Steps per Day

I understand it can be hard to take your foot off the gas sometimes and you can see something as a diet break as step ‘backwards.’

Use this as a prime example, of how it can sometimes be exactly what your body needs to still keep progressing 🎯💯 taken in Edmonton, Alberta by @brycemacarthur
