You don’t find your voice by thinking about it. You build it by using it.

A Moment of Clarity with Bryce Seto

Bryce’s career took an unconventional path from sales to tech to improv, acting, and eventually executive leadership. Somewhere along the way, he realized the skills helping him advance in business weren’t only the ones traditionally taught at work. They were the reps he had been getting somewhere else. Improv gave Bryce an arena to practise communicating, making bold choices, getting uncomfortable and putting himself in front of other people. Over time, those reps changed how he showed up in meetings, presentations and leadership roles.

In his Moment of Clarity, Bryce shares why having a point of view is increasingly important for founders and leaders, what keeps capable people from actually sharing theirs, and why confidence isn’t something you necessarily need to find before putting yourself out there.

Sometimes, putting yourself out there is how you build it.

Had a blast @iveybusiness MBA alumni panel last night.

It’s been 6 months since graduation and it’s great being able to be apart of this alumni crew.

3 years ago I was the furthest thing from an academic, and now being able to share my perspective with current students and be involved with the best (no bias) business school in country… it’s surreal.

Going back to school definitely gave me 10x more grey hairs and drove my family nuts, but it’s one of the best decisions I could have ever made. taken in Ivey School of Business by @bryceseto

Whether it’s using the #improv mindset to create a culture of collaboration, refining storytelling for donor engagement, or developing executive presence, these skills can elevate your organization’s ability to create change.

Had a great time speaking at @fuckupnightsto!

I love how this format encourages folks to talk about their fuck ups, in a world where we only want to show our highlight reels.

Meet Bryce: Founder, Improv for Business and Senior Director, NAM Enterprise at Forstra. 👋 🎤

Bryce’s career began at a Costco cell phone kiosk and skyrocketed to Chief Revenue Officer of a research intelligence company—all before 30. 👏

A college dropout turned MBA grad, he’s also an improv performer who’s taken the stage at Toronto comedy bars and appeared in films and commercials. 😮

Now a Senior Director at Forsta, Bryce teaches business professionals how to embrace uncertainty, adapt on the fly, and turn failures into opportunities. 😎

Bryce is getting real with us, sharing a deeply vulnerable story about his mental health journey and the lessons he learned along the way. This one will hit close to the heart - don’t miss it. 🧠🥺
