Let’s talk about a moment that may be the single most underrated thing you can build into your timeline on your wedding day… a time of prayer. We personally believe that marriage is the closest image we get here on earth of the relationship we’re offered with Christ. abigail told me at the beginning of our session together that one thing she really liked about my work was that she “could feel the love” through my photos, despite those in the photos being strangers to her :’)

well i think it’s safe to say that today is the day the roles are reversed.

abigail & bryce, your love for one another & the Lord is so evident, & i’m honored to have gotten to witness it firsthand.
& to those on this post right now, i know you can see it too.

Today, we laid my cousin to rest after he took his own life last Thursday.

From running around in diapers to be side by side as adults, I’ve always known you were in my corner. We had our problems as we both had different lives, but I always knew you’d protect me. This last week has been long, draining, and just sad. I’m just so, so sad that you’re gone.

I’m glad I got to have a moment with you to talk to you, just me and you. No more demons to fight, no more lies to debate. Only peace now. I’ll see you in Heaven.
