I am a BLACK MAN!.... I build... I don’t tear down other BLACK MEN.... I have felt the pain of being torn down and I have decided I will be deliberate about building others! If I didn’t tag you, please don’t get offended. I tried to pick people I thought would do this challenge!! All too often, we men find it easier to to criticize each other, instead of building each other up. With all the negativity going around let’s do something positive!!🌟Upload 1 picture of yourself.. ONLY you. Then tag as many brothers as you can to do the same. Let’s build ourselves up, instead of tearing ourselves down💛💛 If I tagged you don’t disappoint me!!!!! ....................................................................................Look honestly I’m not doin this simply because I was tagged in this. I’m not sayin that this is what all of y’all are doin but I’m really not big on doin challenges for attention or only for the sake of not getting criticized for not sayin anything. This alone isn’t building black men in my opinion.
But look if you are a brotha with my contact in yo phone call me up and let’s chop it up. Let’s talk about how we feel about everything and process it. Let’s check up on each other. Let’s hype each other up no matter what stage of life we’re in. I know I’m known for poor communication but to my brothas i haven’t spoken to in months time expect a call from me as well. I challenge all of the people I tag in this photo to do the same.
Gentlemen let me tell you that OUR VOICE MATTERS. But let me break that shit down even more.. How we feel matters and expressing those feelings matter. So please, for those of us who haven’t done a thing, let us stop being silent especially during a time where our voices need to be heard.
When I say that our voices need to be heard it doesn’t mean you HAVE to express your voice via social media so you can have peoples validation. There are multiple ways to express your voice that are more effective.

This week we are featuring Winston Terrell, a freshman at Harris-Stowe State University. Winston is currently the flyest dude on campus. "People love to talk about what type of person they want to be one day once this or that happens. That’s not the mindset. Be who you want to be today,” Winston stated.
