🏗️ APPLE VALLEY, CA: 3.48 MILLION SQ. FT. WAREHOUSE PROJECT — WHAT DO YOU THINK? 👀 The Apple Valley Planning Commission is revisiting the proposed Lake Creek Logistics Center, a major industrial warehouse development near the Apple Valley Airport. The proposal includes 3 warehouse buildings totaling approximately 3.48 million square feet on 227 acres. ✅ Potential benefits: Approximately 2,900 jobs, additional tax revenue, infrastructure improvements, and more opportunities for High Desert residents to work locally. ⚠️ Community concerns: Truck traffic, road capacity, air quality, noise, water and fire flow, nearby homes, lighting, and potential impacts around the Apple Valley Airport. The project’s environmental findings also identify some impacts as “significant and unavoidable,” even after mitigation. The Planning Commission’s decision would be a recommendation to the Apple Valley Town Council, which would ultimately make the final decision. ⛳️ @grassleague is like the @pgatour and @livgolfleague had a par 3 baby 🤣🔥 Last weekend I got to spectate my HS buddy @bjdoucett and his partner of the @lasvegasaction tear it up at the Grass League event Summer Grind @goathillpark in Oceanside, CA. If you haven’t heard of @grassleague it’s a fast-paced 2-man scramble, that are on larger teams representing different cities throughout the country. Also it’s just par-3 golf with pros, amateurs and YouTube golfers just throwing darts and making hole in ones. 🎯🔥 It was one of the most fun golf events I’ve attended and is even covered on the @golfchannel .
