Here we go again! 💉🪺🥚✨

PS, not sponsored by @costco , but wouldn’t hate the collab 🤝

Prepping for egg freezing next month with a prenatal vitamin, 600mg of coq10, vitamin D, and a healthy lifestyle! 💃

2016 was a tough one.

Started my final year of medical school, did multiple sub-internship away rotations at different hospitals (check out my sublease set up on photo 6), interviewed at 17 OB/GYN residency programs across the country, all while hoping that in 10 years I would have my dream job…

Special thanks to my family and friends from medical school/college that made sure I found some moments of joy along the way. Also. Shout out to the old Nike running app for being my companion that helped keep me sane throughout.

Wouldn’t want to go back and do it over again, but grateful for 2016 for helping me get here! We made it 🥹🤗 by @brynwillson_md

Grateful for the chance to spend an evening surrounded by people with similar goals - improving access to fertility services! ✨👶

Thank you @angelarastegar and @joinsunfish for coordinating such a fabulous event with @sandiegofertilitycenter. Looking forward to the great work we can do together! 👯‍♀️ by @brynwillson_md

Such as special evening at the San Diego Sunfish Supper Series 💛!

We brought together an incredible group across the fertility community (reproductive endocrinologists, OB/GYNs, surgeons, acupuncturists, investors, and members of the Sunfish team) for an intimate dinner and conversation about the future of fertility and family building.

The Sunfish Supper Series is about creating space for people who approach fertility from very different perspectives to sit around the same table, share what they’re seeing, and learn from one another. Our “Jeffersonian style” dinner means that every attendee has the chance to share their work and learn together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so meaningful.

San Diego, we are so excited to have launched the Sunfish Success Programs in this community! 🌊 by @brynwillson_md

The SREI conference is a yearly event where first and second year REI fellows from around the country get together to network and cover topics otherwise not taught in fellowship - like work life balance/ financial literacy/ and how to get more involved in committees 🤓

I was invited to participate in the early career Q&A session and got to catch up with some of my former co-fellows!

Made a trip to the beautiful St. Regis in Deer Valley - love this funicular ride! 🚠⛰️

Such an amazing time catching up with colleagues and friends from various stages of training 👯‍♀️

I was also asked to participate in the faculty vs fellows debate - and here I was practicing my main argument.

My closing point:

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. We recognize that IVF cycles are biologically variable, and not everything is within our control.

However, when cycle 1 identifies something potentially modifiable, repeating the exact same approach without reconsideration isn’t wisdom—it’s inertia. If we simply repeat the protocol, what exactly are we adding as REIs? Our expertise—and maybe our job security—lies in knowing what to accept, what to change, and, most importantly, the wisdom to know the difference.

Mid debate action 🎤

All smiles at the end of the debate!

So grateful and humbled to be invited to participate as an early career faculty member this year! Until next time! 👋 by @brynwillson_md

What to expect at your initial consult 👩‍⚕️

1. We will ask about your health history (including your medical, surgical, social, and family history) 📝
2. We will walk you through the testing recommended (ultrasound and bloodwork and semen analysis when indicated) 🩸
3. Talk about potential treatment options and next steps ✨🪺

First step of the journey is all about gathering data so you can make an informed decision about your future family 💕

A dreamy day at Wimbledon to cap off a fabulous @eshre_official conference in London 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🎾🍓🫖

So grateful for my team and colleagues at @sandiegofertilitycenter for holding down the fort while we were away - but of course we are always monitoring our patients labs and ultrasounds, even from across the pond 🫶 by @brynwillson_md

Recent celebrity pregnancy announcements, including Anne Hathaway’s, have sparked conversations about fertility in your 40s. While these stories can be inspiring, they do not always reflect the full picture.

Dr. Bryn Willson shares what trying to conceive in your 40s can actually look like and why the journey is not always simple or linear. 👩‍⚕️💬

Yes, pregnancy in your 40s is possible with the right support and technology, but it is not always easy or typical for the average person.
