25-26 SZN GMAC 6A/7A ALL CONFERENCE

 Brynlee Miller

End of season posts are a little heavier when you have to say goodbye to someone like this one.

Our captain. All-conference. Our engine.

Week in and week out, she carried the heaviest load and embraced the highest expectations. Even when the shots weren’t falling, she found ways to impact the game—fighting for big rebounds, making tough defensive assignments, and doing whatever the team needed. One night she’s locking down the opponent’s best guard, the next she’s battling in the paint against their best post. She brought the ball up when we needed a point guard, stretched the floor from the wing when we needed scoring—whatever was asked of her, she delivered. No excuses. Just work.

What’s been even more special to watch is her growth. This season, her confidence took off. She truly owned her role, and because of that, everyone around her got better.

She’s selfless. Soft-spoken, yet incredibly strong. Thoughtful, creative, brilliant, and responsible. As the oldest sibling in her family—and the oldest in our locker room—she led in a way that set the tone for everyone. I’m lucky enough to coach her younger siblings as well, and because of who she is, I know exactly what kind of people and players they’ll be.

She gave us everything this season—blood, sweat, and tears… literally. Even chipped a tooth and was ready to get right back to it.

She led us in scoring and rebounding and helped push this team to something we hadn’t done in 5 years—MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.

Brynlee, I say all the time to the team but to you personally.. I’m incredibly thankful to have coached you. Thank you for being so coachable. You have aided my belief as a coach more than I can ever express! We love you!
