jungthkoreanroc Brysen (@brysenmm) | 2000 Freestyle Session 6.

When we talk about the Air Chair, we definitely have to mention Brysen. As breaking continued to evolve after the 2000s, this move became a new paradigm. Brysen expressed it in a way that was fresh, stylish, and truly his own. A true innovator. 100% respect to him.

The past few years I’ve been practicing bonsai n shaping trees to mirror dance postures for display at @thebeaconmm and @freshh_cafe 🌱

So Im super excited that a couple bonsai artists I follow reached out to host workshops at Freshh. Looking forward to learning techniques from Tony and Ben around plant design and care.

If you’re into bonsai, plant design, and plant care, come take the workshop with me. Jan 10 swipe for details.

A community that works together, grows together! 🏠

To everyone who joined us for taste-testing, gave feedback, and supported us through this process: We’re very grateful to have been given this opportunity to tune our cafe with you. Together were able to go through our recipes, refine our process, share our drinks and dishes, explore our space settings, and just to feed you, take in your honest thoughts, and feel your joy; it has been beautiful to witness and is already worth the work. 🥹

This is only the beginning! With what we learned and adapted, we have been able to have new team members join us and grow even further together with what we’ve been taught as we still learn together and work towards our full opening. So shout out to YOU for allowing us this opportunity to grow and learn this way!

Hope y’all had a great Labor Day weekend!

Bringing our vision to reality has been a labor of love. While we have been taste and space testing already, we’ve been reflecting on the work it takes to put an idea onto paper and the vision on that paper into action. Looking back, we of course not only built up a space for FresHH, but also a base for artists, professionals, enthusiasts, and anyone in the community to come together over fresh eats and good beats!

This video is just a glimpse of the journey and we are excited to continue it with y’all! So stay tuned as we draw close to our Grand Opening! We’ll be in touch with the deets, eats, and beats!

✨Something Freshh is coming…✨

Two years ago, we reopened The Beacon with a renewed mission to move, connect, and grow alongside our community — and what a journey it’s been. From packed classes to unforgettable events and, most importantly, the energy you all bring into the space every day — we’re endlessly grateful. 💛

Since day one, we’ve dreamed of expanding this vision — to not only move the body and uplift the spirit, but to also nourish the whole self. This vision goes beyond the dancers who move through The Beacon — it’s for us creatives, us dreamers, us professionals, us laborers, and all of us who make up this community in its fullness. That’s where the dream of Freshh – Eats and Beats comes in. 🥬☕🎶

The Beacon studio brings people together through dance and movement. Freshh café will fuel our movers while we also welcome everyone from friends, family, long time supporters to curious passersby. Let’s be a space where we can pause between the beats, sip something freshh, and feel at home for movement and stillness.

A space for all of us. Sit. Chill. Meet. Eat. Collaborate. Create. Just Be.

We’re not officially open yet — we’re still getting ready. But starting this summer, you’ll be able to get your first tastes during our programs and events, helping us shape the Freshh menu as we prepare for launch. 🌞✨

This next chapter wouldn’t have been possible without the City of Seattle’s Tenant Improvement Program 🙏🏼❤🙏🏽, and, of course, the people who show up, support, and believe in this evolving vision 🙌🏼❤🙌🏽. Thank you. 💚

We’re so excited to share with you this new expression through nourishment and enrichment! Follow us over at @freshh_cafe to stay in the loop and come along for the ride.
