A few of Denver’s dusty corners…
The Mile High City has a rich history as a stopover for rail travelers, transient workers, writers, artists, and those existing on the margins of society. The city has long provided low income Single Room Occupancy housing options. Many of these SRO Motels still stand with their fading facades and broken neon signs. In the dusty corners of the city they still serve the same purpose of housing those living “in-between”

#Carnival #Barranquilla #Colombia 2026
✨🇨🇴✨
This massive, four-day festival held just before Lent is known for its vibrant parades, flamboyant costumes, cultural music & traditional dancing. Blending European, African, and Indigenous traditions. It’s holds the honorable title of “UNESCO Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.”
The whole city transforms into a giant street party in an explosion of color and energy.
Truly an epic event of tradition & folk magic!#BarrioAbajo taken in Barranquilla, Atlantico, Colombia by @bsassmann
