Beautiful black vulture at #PilotMountain State Park. This guy landed not 10’ from me, then flew about 50’ showing off his (her) beautiful wings! Shot with my @canonusa R5 Mark II & my RF24-240mm ƒ/4-6.3 IS USM. #canonglass #wildlife #birds by @bsbphotoworks

Quick trip to the @reynoldagardenswfu to see beautiful flowers in February courtesy of their warm greenhouses. Shot with my @canonusa R5 Mark II, EF100mm ƒ/2.8L Macro IS USM, ISO1600-8000, ƒ/11, 1/160s. #canonglass #macro #macrophotography by @bsbphotoworks

A white-throated Sparrow (Zonotrichia albicollis) enjoying a light rain shower on a chilly February morning. Shot, handheld, with a @canonusa R5 Mark II, RF100-500mm ƒ/4.5-7.1 L IS USM, 500mm, ƒ/8, ISO10000, 1/500s. #canonglass #wildlife #birdphotography by @bsbphotoworks

A beautiful male #cardinal enjoying breakfast. His mate came by several times but was very shy & didn’t want her photo taken. Shot, handheld, with my @canonusa R5 Mark II, RF100-500mm ƒ/4.5-7.1 L IS USM, 324mm, ISO16000, ƒ/6.3, 1/1000s. #canonglass #wildlife #birdsphotography by @bsbphotoworks

There’s nothing like finding L glass in pristine condition for way less than a what the big used vendors want for this lens in this condition. There isn’t even a single scratch on the lens, glass, or the factory hood & caps.

The EF100mm ƒ/2.8L Macro IS USM works great on my R5 Mark II with the #Canon adapter & lets my girlfriend use it on her 6D Mark II too. Win-win!

Some quick pics of Roman at @carolina_tiger_rescue in Pittsboro, NC. He’s a beautiful, majestic cat who, along with his large kitty cousins, are absolutely worth your time to visit. This is the only way to shoot animals, with a @canonusa R5 Mark II & an RF100-500mm ƒ4.5-7.1 L IS USM. #canon #lion #canonglass #r5 #cat by @bsbphotoworks

My girlfriend & I went hiking in the Pisgah National Forest near yesterday to explore & photograph waterfalls well outside the popular trails. I don’t carry a portrait lens hiking, but at one point the light was too good to pass up, so I shot the first one here with what I had, my @canonusa EF28-300mm ƒ3.5-5.6L IS USM attached to my #Canon R5 Mark II at 300mm, ƒ5.6, ISO100, 1/250s, using zoom compression to compensate for the smaller aperture for bokeh.

Next up, let’s look at this body/lens combination for slow, handheld shots to test IS. The next one is one of the North Harper Creek waterfalls shot at 160mm, ISO50, ƒ5.6, 1/10s.

Next, another of the falls, this one at 28mm, ISO2000, ƒ20, 1/20s.

Finally, 2 shots back-to-back of the same falls, one at 60mm, ISO100, ƒ7.1, 1/10s, the other at 60mm, ISO5000, ƒ5.6, 1/1000s.

Could I get these shots with RF glass? Absolutely, but not with a single lens.

My neighbors’ beautiful Austrian Shepherd Thistle. She’s so energetic & happy, but after a half hour of full on speed she was clearly tired.

Shot with a @canonusa R5 Mark II & an RF100-500mm ƒ4.5-7.1 L IS USM. Anyone who still doubts this camera/lens combination in less than optimal lighting condition conditions should think again. Many of these were shot at ISO 16000 as it was within an hour of sunset in an area that gets no direct sunlight this time of day. #canon #r5 #canonglass #canonlens by @bsbphotoworks
