Did everyone make it through the weekend? That dog parade was a LOT! And it seems Autumn has arrived! We'll still have our doors open until it gets just TOO chilly! Stop by tonight for some Monday Night Football with Ivan. We open at 5 and Nick can serve you our drink specials all evening long. Plus, if you're feeling snacky, he'll zap a few of our "Extinction Event Dino Nuggets" for ya! Or perhaps some pretzel nuggets instead? Or you're welcome to bring in some pizza. We're working on making our little Starlight Lounge as comfortable and familiar as your living room! And downstairs, as we do every Monday, we're hosting Joe Bendik's Antihoot open mic night. The joint was jumpin' last night, with empressaria Big Mama Freak's night of 60s Garage, Surf & Psychobilly! And the Halloween Art Market lured in costumed canines from the afternoon's big Dog Parade. It was a very long day! Today will be a bit more mellow, with Grace making space for women to enjoy some sportsball. Our delightfully femme Starlight Lounge lures in the ladies with our twinkling lights and moonlit loo. Perhaps the gentlemen will follow? Either way, we'll have football on the screens and snacks on the bar! Matt takes over at 6 for the night games and more snacks. Come wind down from your action-packed weekend with one of our delicious craft cocktails or inexpensive drink specials. Join us!

Ooohhhh spooooky! Today is one of our favorite days of the year! It's the big Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade! And the big costume contest is just blocks away! Getting into the ghoulish mood, we've got a Halloween Market, featuring four of our favorite artists: Mutantland, Ethan Minsker and UpcycledNYC (Jenniferpodisdead). Pick up some super cool weirdo art! Vanessa is behind the bar, noon till 7, serving the delicious adult beverages. Grab a brunch Mimosa or spicy Bloody to kick off your busy Saturday. Tonight we've got a 60s garage, surf and psychobilly show starring The Disappearing Ac, Memphis Morticians, Psych Meds, and The Vivisectors. Deb O'Nair will be working the door, no doubt exhausted from the daytime dogapalooza! And Kristen is slinging the cheap swill for all the music fans. The BAGGYSUIT Productions team: Myles Flusser and James Hyland, had a packed room for their film screening of Anna By the Window last night. That's our third movie show, with more on the way! Keep an eye on our web site for upcoming fun! Tonight, we are dark downstairs, while upstairs in our Starlight Lounge, Gene sets the tone with groovy tunes and gothy vibes. We've got some Halloween decor happening, with, yes, more on the way, all in anticipation of our big Halloween bash with Kostume Kult. October is always endless fun that flies by far too quickly. We had fun last night with Bitchy Waiter watching the hilarious We're So Dead! Gene had a nice crowd upstairs all evening, with the Frozen Espresso Martinis flowing. Tonight we've got a trivia fundraiser downstairs with Angus pouring the beers while Antonio whips up the craft cocktails in our Starlight Lounge. It's going to be a balmy evening. Aprés le deluge, it's sunshine and blue skies! And tonight we'll have the Bills vs the Rams upstairs and the weekly Antihoot downstairs, with Ivan serving up the frosty cold beers and delicious craft cocktails. We have a selection of NA beers for those of you who are cutting back or only drinking on the weekends. And though we have an extensive menu, we still serve all the old stand-bys, so don't be shy about ordering a well vodka soda-splash-of-cran. And if you've got some input, please let us know! We had another wild one in our gritty little subterranean nightspot, with Florida Mans celebrating their record release with friends and lovers, while upstairs Rachel was whipping up the craft cocktails for a sizable crowd of fashionistas. Today? Well...we aren't gonna try to oversell a rainy Sunday, but we WILL tell you that Mr. Mo B Dick is downstairs hosting the Drag King Revolution Filmmakers Panel, with never before seen footage from the 90s Drag King Club Casanova. Upstairs, Ivan is working his first shift and he'll be putting on the football games to lure any intrepid shoppers in off the sidewalk. Might that, perhaps, include you? Duck in from the rain and sip a sparkling Mimosa. If you're suffering from last night's excesses, how about a spicy Bloody Mary, with all its curative powers? Sounds like a perfect way to while away a Sunday! Vanessa takes over at 6 for the evening hours and a few more football games.
