After closing the North American Tour of @moulinrougebway on Sunday I get to add be more stop to my list. Excited to be making my Broadway debut covering Zidler and Lautrec for this week. So grateful for the opportunity for a bit more rouge through Sunday Aug 9th. I don’t have scheduled performances but, believe me, if I’m going on I will sent out alerts. So thankful for the team’s trust and support, my family and friends, and thankful for the earlier versions of myself that REFUSED TO GIVE UP. He went from flyering and promoting the show with @broadwaycrew to trailing two dream roles today. And a special thank you to @rbuckingham1111 for coming and sharing this moment today. #broadway #moulinrougethemusical #debut #understudylife taken in Al Hirschfeld Theater by @bscjr

“Sailing” from A New Brain
Came across this video from a few months ago that I’ve been sitting on. This has always been one of my favorite songs but it had been years since I’d sung it so what a treat to actually share it. I love a Bill Finn ballad.

And just like that…the crisp fall air has swept in. Doing my best to get out of the house and enjoy it a little. What fall activities are you looking forward to? #upstatelife #saratogasprings #fallvibes taken in Saratoga Springs, New York by @bscjr

Escaped the country for a quick 72 hours in NYC. For my city folks who moved upstate: how often do you head back to the big city for a jolt of excitement? #citymousecountrymouse #upstatenewyork #saratoga taken in Saratoga Springs, New York by @bscjr

It’s been about a little over a month since my last week at the Rouge and almost 3 months since my last performance on stage. This is the hard part. The being patient. The working on dream material before the appointment materializes. The daily practice. Reminding myself that this time is when the growth happens.

This city mouse isn’t getting enough steps out in the country. How did you other transplants adjust to not being in a walkable city? #citymouseinthecountry #saratogasprings #upstatelife taken in Saratoga Springs, New York by @bscjr

Happy closing weekend to the company of @moulinrougebway! This show changed my life this year after an audition journey that started all the way back in 2022 and ended in December of 2025 when I booked the closing leg of the North American tour. It was an absolute honor to close out on the road and spend a week with the Broadway company at the Al Hirschfeld. The Moulin Rouge family is full of some of the most superhuman people I’ve ever worked with and I’m so thankful to have been a small part of the show’s legacy. Shine bright like the diamonds you are this weekend! taken in Al Hirschfeld Theatre by @bscjr
