4 years of college tennis was no where near my after high school plans, but I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Well maybe so more playing time, lol. Being apart of this tennis program has had a significant impact on my college experience. It has pissed me off but it has also made me the most happy. Tennis was always a hobby or a fun time with friends but over the past 4 years it has become part of my life. This sport has brought me some close friends and without this sport I never would have met them.

Even though I can still play tennis anytime, I will never get that special feeling of riding, building, sculpting, and hand carving the bench the way I did. There is truly no feeling like it. After reflecting on my collegiate career, I am now choosing to see it is not about of the amount of games I played or how warm the bench was, it was about the friendships I made and the lessons I learned along the way.
