2023 was filled with so much gratitude and love and I can’t wait for more of the same this year. How splendid to be alive! by @bshank_

I won’t lie, I got a bit sad as I started looking up at the stars tonight. The desert is full of solitude; that’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s easy to feel lonely out here as well. As I looked up, I thought about my friends and how I wished that they could see the stars with me - and then I thought, “hey, what the hell. They can!” The stars might not look exactly like this wherever my homie are, but every time they look up we get to admire the same sky. And that helped the desert feel a little less lonely. Love ya, pals taken in Mojave National Preserve by @bshank_

Big news!! This happy camper is moving to California next week!!!

Very stoked to say that I got a position living and working in the Mojave National Preserve for the next six months with American Conservation Experience and the National Park Service. Atlanta has been so good to me (even though I’m hardly ever IN Georgia) and I will be sad to leave, but hot damn I think I’m in for a good time.

And after six months? Who knows! A little bit scary but a lot of bit exciting!!! by @bshank_

So many things to say but it all boils down to this: if you don’t have something in your life that brings you the kind of overwhelming and unadulterated joy and gratitude that this woman makes me feel, I hope you find that something soon

So thankful for her and all of the friends/friends of friends/strangers that became friends/etc that made these shows not only possible but some of the greatest experiences of my life by @bshank_
