Sometimes the best runs are the ones you don’t plan! 🍁🏃‍♀️❤️

Impromptu miles with the best community in the most charming corner of Philly!

🍂🍁Fall in Chestnut Hill just hits differently. Beautiful tree-lined streets, great company, and a neighborhood we’re so lucky to call home.🍁🍂

🌞This is what Balance Life is all about. Moving together. Connecting. Having fun. And celebrating the people and places that make our community so special.

🍂 Stronger together. Better in Balance. 🧡 by @bskymama

A few moments from a magical visit with our Aves Babe. 🌊☀️ Loved exploring her corner of California and getting a glimpse of the beautiful life she’s creating. Love you, love you Aves Babe ❤️🌴❤️ @earthyave by @bskymama

In my quest to surf every month for the year…I Surfed the PACIFIC in Morro Bay for the first time! 🌊🏄‍♀️

“Surfing” is a loose term as the waves were way too big for me, so I stayed in the whitewater. But I showed up, got in, and tried something new!

✨ Lessons learned:
• Try new things.
• Go even when you’re scared.
• Adjust your sails for comfort and safety.
• Celebrate what you CAN do.

That feeling afterward? Absolutely amazing. 💙

The icing on the cake? Time with my Aves Babe. 🥰

Starting the day with a sunrise surf session and a heart full of gratitude. 🌅🏄‍♀️

Three years ago, closer to the time this photo was taken, my surfboard hit me in the head, leaving me with a concussion, a three-month recovery and tinnitus that lingers to this day. After that, I was too afraid to surf again.

But this summer, with the help of @keenansurfmechanics , I finally got back out there! I’m incredibly grateful for Matt’s patience and encouragement as I work through my fear, get out of my own head and get back into action.

🙏Thank you, Matt, for helping me find my way back to something I love. What an amazing way to start the day! 💙

Trying to figure out surfing in my 50s and so grateful to those helping me out along the way 💫

Get out there. Try something new. Enjoy this beautiful life. 🏄‍♀️💙

Walking into 30 years of marriage with my best friend and feeling truly grateful 🙏❤️ I wouldn’t want anyone else by my side for life’s ups, downs and all arounds…💫…

We kicked off the week with a Seattle wedding with a couple who exude pure joy, happiness, gratitude and were a reminder of what marriage is all about 🎊💕

We then adventured to The San Juan Islands (Orcas Island & Friday Harbor) for a week exploring the Pacific Northwest with stunning scenery including: Orcas, Eagles, Sea Lions & more

Highlight: stumbling upon the Orcas Island Senior Center’s “House Ukelele Band” performing a concert 🎶 (sound up for # 6)❣️

✨You have a gift for squeezing every last drop out of life while chasing adventures, saying yes to new experiences, and finding beauty wherever you go.

☀️We are so incredibly proud of the woman you’ve become: your adventurous spirit, your sunshine energy, your curiosity, your talent, and your big, beautiful heart.

💫The world is a better place because you’re in it, and we can’t wait to see where this next trip around the sun takes you.

❤️We love you beyond words❣️Happy Birthday, Aves Babe! 😘✨❤️

✨I’m incredibly honored (and honestly surprised!) to be featured by Many Happy Miles.

🌟When I first signed up for Hyrox, I was simply looking for a new challenge. I never imagined that at age 56 I’d be sharing my story with a community of runners and athletes from around the country.

💥At 56, I feel stronger than I’ve ever been…not because of a finish time, but because I’ve learned to embrace challenges, trust the process, and (most importantly) be grateful for what my body allows me to do.✨

‼️If you’re wondering whether you’re too old to try something new… you’re not. ❤️

🙏A huge thank you to Dimity McDowell and the Many Happy Miles team for featuring my Hyrox journey.

💫Sometimes strength means pushing forward and sometimes it means adjusting your sails. ⛵️

☀️Sunday’s AC Olympic Tri was much harder than expected, so I’m listening to my body, reevaluating and deferring the Jones Beach 70.3 I had been signed up for in September.

🙏With the support of my friend, world-class athlete Bek Keat, I’m resetting, refocusing and choosing a shorter race to finish the season strong 💪
@bek_keat

🎉Thank you, DelMoSports, for another incredible event (although I could’ve done without the beach running! 😂)
@delmoeliteevents

✨Changing the plan isn’t giving up. It’s choosing a new finish line. 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️ 💪💥
