DANCE WITHOUT BORDERS. THE WORLD OF ART MEETS IN BELGRADE.

What will the 10th Anniversary Balkan Art Olympiad bring?

8 November 2026 | Opera & Theatre Madlenianum, Belgrade

The X Balkan Art Olympiad celebrates 10 years of dance, discoveries and new opportunities — bringing together dancers, schools, teachers, choreographers and the international dance community on one stage.

Participants are expected from Serbia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Greece, Germany, France, Romania, Hungary, Russia, Belarus, Türkiye, Egypt, China, South Korea and other countries, representing ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz and other dance disciplines.

Belgrade is the 1/4 FINAL of the international ART OLYMPIAD system:

1/2 FINAL — Europe Art Olympiad, Ljubljana
FINAL — Continental Art Olympiad, Thessaloniki
GRAND FINAL — World Art Olympiad, May 2027

The host city of the World Grand Final remains a secret for now.

A major highlight will be the DANCEWAY PRO© FORUM for teachers and choreographers, organised with the Institute of Dance Art in Belgrade.

The programme is being formed with invited faculty and guests from Europe and Asia, including teachers and artists from the Vaganova Ballet Academy, Boris Eifman Dance Academy, Bolshoi Ballet Academy, as well as artists of the Bolshoi Ballet.

Among the invited jury members and guests:

Konstantin Kostyukov — renowned ballet master, former Ballet Director of the National Theatre in Belgrade;
Jovica Bigojev — principal dancer and Ballet Director of the National Theatre in Belgrade;
Elena Churilova — contemporary choreographer and teacher at the Boris Eifman Dance Academy;
