Did you know I’ve started my own business? It’s true, more than two years ago! Admittedly, I didn’t tell many people because I was afraid it would fail and everyone would consider me a fool. I guess I’m still fearful of that, but it’s high time I put on my big-boy pants and shouted it from the rooftops.

My business partner, Heidy, and I worked together at an agency and found out we were a really good yin and yang. Between the two of us, we accomplished a lot of good work. After a tumultuous farewell from my previous agency, we did what Heidy’s husband had been urging us to do: stake out on our own.

Getting business photos taken feels like a really “grown-up” moment to me — we paid for these, dang it! Soon they’ll be on our website, then soon they won’t feel exciting, and eventually they’ll look old, but for now I’m proud to tell you all about what I’ve been up to, and if you need or know anyone who needs design or marketing work done, please keep us in mind!
