We want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make our camp a success! 💙

To all of our campers, you showed up, worked hard, and brought great energy! We hope you learned something that you can carry into your season and beyond. Never settle. Always look for ways to grow, improve, and take your game to the next level!

Not everyone will wear the Big Blue, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be part of your journey. We are always here to support, encourage, and help you become the best version of yourself!

And to our campers, we haven’t forgotten about you! Be on the lookout, we’ll be in touch soon! 👀💙

To our current squad, YOU SHOWED OUT! The energy, effort, and enthusiasm you brought were unmatched! You put on a great event, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead this season!

Pressure is the standard. Keep working. Keep growing.

A heartfelt thank you to Greater Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church for welcoming the Bluefield State Women’s Basketball team to service today! 💙🏀

We are truly grateful for the love, hospitality, prayers, encouragement, and the seeds you have sown into the lives of our players and coaches.

As we move forward, we know it’s time for us to create our own legacy while staying true to who we are.

The Women’s Ministry and the entire Greater Mt. Zion church family blessed our team in more ways than one, and we simply wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU!

Great service. Great fellowship. An even greater blessing. 🙏🏽 We appreciate you for pouring into our young women and reminding them that what they are building goes far beyond basketball. taken in Greater Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church by @bsu_wbb

🏀 WELCOME TO THE HILL!

Excited to welcome Coach Byron Brown to The Hill! Life always has a way of bringing you back around to good people, and I’m grateful our paths have crossed again.

Also excited to welcome back Coach Jayla, Coach Tianna, and Coach Dani; this time as coaches! Once great players in our WBB program, they’re now stepping into a new challenge and bringing their experience, energy, and love for the game to the other side of the sidelines.

There’s something special about watching former players come back and pour into the next generation.

This is going to be a great year, surrounded by even better people. The energy is different when you get to do what you love with people you believe in.

Welcome to The Hill, Coaches! Let’s get to work!

From Silver Spring, Maryland to the Hills of Bluefield State, help us welcome Sanaiya Edmond to the Big Blue family!

The 5’8” junior guard arrives with experience and production, averaging 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. She impacts the game in every phase and finds ways to help her team win.
Off the court, Sanaiya is one of the sweetest people you’ll meet. But once she steps between the lines, it’s a different story. She’s a DAWG 🐾

A fearless slasher who attacks the rim with purpose, embraces contact, and isn’t afraid to play physical. She rebounds well above her size, creates opportunities for her teammates, and competes with an edge every possession. Her toughness, versatility, and experience are exactly what we’re building this program around.

Big Blue Nation, help us welcome @naiyaalem to the Hill!

The mission stays the same... Guard the Hill. 💙💛

Two sports. One mission.

From Maryland to the Hills of Bluefield State, help us welcome Lanaya Valentine to the Big Blue family!
Lanaya is a dual-sport student-athlete, competing for both our Women’s Basketball and @bstate_xctf programs. She brings speed, athleticism, and a relentless work ethic.

Choosing to compete in two collegiate sports takes commitment, discipline, and heart and Lanaya is ready to embrace the challenge.
Double the sports. Double the work. Double the opportunity.
Big Blue Nation, help us welcome @luvv.lanaya to the Hill!
The standard is set. Now it’s time to earn it. 💙💛
