“Get a bunch of bikes and ride them around with your friends.”

The spring block of racing is in the rearview, and getting after it with the boys has been a hell of a time so far. Onward to the rest of the season, with big goals and a ton of fun along the the way on deck 🫡😤🤠🚀

🚨 New Rider Announcement 🚨

The most handsome guy we’ve ever met on a bike, @btick21 is one of us now. We’re stoked to be bringing Brennan on board with Visit Pittsburgh Cycling Team. We’ve gotten to know Brennan over the past few years and couldn’t be more excited to be racing alongside him next season (he was basically living at our team tent anyway 😉).

A little about Brennan, in his own words:

“I grew up working in a bike shop. I picked up road cycling seriously four years ago and started racing three years ago. I’ve had some local and regional success, but racing Easton and Somerville last year really lit the fire to chase the next level. I’m from Boston but no stranger to Pittsburgh—I’ve built friendships with the team over the past four years, coming into town every October for the Dirty Dozen.

When I’m not racing, I work at Best Buddies International as part of the Best Buddies Challenge Team, producing and promoting charity rides and cycling camps that fund programs supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I’ve been involved with the organization for over 10 years, starting as a volunteer mentoring a coworker at the bike shop who has Down syndrome.”

Welcome to the squad, you handsome devil!
