What a weekend, New York! 🚴‍♂️💙

From the energy at the starting line in New York City to an unforgettable finish at Glenmere Mansion, the 2026 Best Buddies Challenge: New York brought our community together for a weekend filled with friendship, determination, celebration, and inclusion.

Every mile ridden and every moment shared helped advance the #BestBuddies mission of creating opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Thank you to our riders, supporters, volunteers, partners, buddies, families, and everyone who made this incredible weekend possible. This is #WhyWeRide.

@volvocarusa is proud to continue its support of the Best Buddies Challenge: New York. Over the past nine years, Volvo has donated more than $500,000 to help advance Best Buddies’ mission of ending the social, physical, and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) worldwide.

This year, Volvo supported the Challenge experience, with a fleet of XC60s and XC90s joining us throughout the event weekend in New York.

We’re grateful for Volvo’s continued partnership and commitment to helping create more opportunities for inclusion for people with IDD. by @bestbuddieschallenge

An unforgettable day at the 2026 Best Buddies Challenge: New York, where hundreds came together with one shared purpose: inclusion.

From the heart of New York City to the Hudson Valley, every mile was a reminder of what’s possible when we choose friendship, belonging and opportunity for ALL. This year’s Challenge brought together an incredible community with a goal of raising $4 MILLION to support Best Buddies programs empowering people with intellectual and developmental disabilities around the world.

For Miss America Regan Hutsell, being part of the Best Buddies family is so much more than showing up—it’s standing alongside a movement creating meaningful friendships, opening doors to employment and leadership, and building a world where everyone has the opportunity to belong. 💜
