Matt, Amy, and Ashley were there to greet Brenna at the Hyannis Port finish line. Thanks to her Peloton training at home, the windy ride was no problem, and she may have even finished first.

18 years with Best Buddies, and my dreams keep growing!

With this program’s support, I now have two part-time jobs that give me purpose, confidence, and independence. My next goal is inclusive living a place where I can grow, feel supported, and build a life of my own.

Dancing, cycling, and advocating for some of theee best 🫶🏼 the (grueling, challenging) Best Buddies Ride out of NYC, over Bear Mountain, through Harriman State Park, and to Glenmere was nothing short of fun & rewarding. The most rewarding part was witnessing the great work @bestbuddies is doing, meeting the fantastic buddies at the after-party, and fundraising for this cause which has always been special to me. Thank you to everyone who donated, I’ve never raised this much for a charity and it makes me super proud. Best Buddies is an incredible organization for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and they go way beyond just basic support and resources for these kids & adults and their families — I was blown away. I can’t wait to continue my journey in supporting & volunteering with BB and hopefully link up with some buddies! Thanks to the queen @djlexing for riding w/ me, keeping me endlessly entertained, and waiting for my phat arse to get up the climbs <3 so much fun w/ @dwindally at the party, so many adventures! Also thanks @1.jules for getting me involved and making this day happen. Being with friends who feel just as passionate about the cause always makes the day great @_peter_gunn_ @fleettsc @btick21 @radiatinglizard @elm81 Huge shout out to @missamerica for supporting & showing up, lots of pride seeing that as a former MAO girl. I’m so thrilled to share that I have just stepped into the role of Senior Director of Mission Performances and Engagement at @bestbuddies, combining my lifelong background in entertainment and dance with my passion for empowering the gifts and talents of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities 💜

It was such a blessing to support in coordinating this magical number to “Girl on Fire” for @bestbuddieschallenge alongside @billyblanksjr, highlighting the beautiful dance technique of @mikholmgren_inspiring_others and @bethannedance perfectly accompanied by the incredible singing voices of @mia.noelle.rodriguez and @sharoncatherinebrown

(An extra shoutout and thank you to @lucyy.lucas for being the best dance partner to help me teach this choreography!)

From the first steps in the studio in my little ol’ town of West Lafayette, IN, to choreography videos and virtual meetings across state lines, to the final performance at the iconic @rainbowroomnyc, this number was such a special reminder of what’s possible when everyone has the opportunity to shine, and I can’t wait for all that’s ahead in this new chapter 🙏🏻

Two causes. One organization. One heart for inclusion.

As a person with disabilities, I know how much opportunity and support can change a life. That’s why I’m fundraising for two different efforts through Best Buddies, and both mean so much to me.

As a Champion, I’m helping international students with disabilities attend Leadership Conference. Flights, registration, meals, and other expenses add up quickly. I want them to experience the friendships, confidence, and leadership opportunities that made such a difference in my life. When you see my Champion posts, please help me give someone else that same chance.

As a Mission Partner for Best Buddies Tampa, I’m also fundraising with Team Snack Pack for more inclusive living opportunities. Many of us still live with our parents and are ready to take steps toward living on our own, but we need the resources and support to get there. With inclusive living planned for Tampa Bay in August 2027, we’re working toward a place where our ambassadors, buddies, and young adults can build everyday skills, become more self sufficient, and feel at home.

Two separate fundraising efforts, both creating opportunities for people with disabilities to grow, belong, and thrive.
