This is for the Pride of Westmoore, what a good ending to my final year of marching band.

Oh brother, I got so emotional after our OBA prelims run, but they’re happy tears because I’m done and sad tears because I’m done. This marching band season has been one of the greatest. There’s a lot of things I can’t believe we did like breaking 80, basically making OBA finals, and performing at the freaking St. Louis Dome. We couldn’t have done it without all of you guys.

To the flute section, I’ve got something I want to say to you all when my remaining time with y’all is all over.

Seniors, we’ve been through lots over the past couple of years like losing Moore war for the first time in ages and not making OBA finals. But weve done some amazing things too like breaking 80 this year, earning Westmoore’s first caption awards in ‘Dare to Dream’, and perform at the St. Louis Dome. We wouldn’t be able to reach this high without all of you. Thank you guys for staying in band with me, I wouldn’t trade these years for anything. We ended out last season on a real good note.

Even though marching band is tough, I’m gonna miss it all. I’m gonna miss the instructors, my friends, the early mornings and late evenings, the all day contests, changing in and out of uniform, learning choreo, performing on the field. It’s been really fun you guys, thank you for everything. Peace out. by @btnay__
