11 years of lights, sweat, laughter, tears, and the kind of energy that only happens when people decide to show up for something bigger than themselves.

SoulCycle has completely changed me. It’s shaped me, challenged me, and pushed me into becoming the strongest, most grounded, most myself version of who I am today. And my hope, my deepest hope, is that I’ve been able to do even a piece of that for every single rider who’s ever clipped in with me.

When I first started teaching, I was told over and over again to be like someone else. To sound like them. Move like them. Teach like them. And for a while, I tried. Until I realized that the moment I stopped performing and started being me, everything changed. The connection deepened. The room felt real. That’s when I found success, but more importantly, that’s when I found freedom.

Because the truth is, the power we have in vulnerability, in being fully and unapologetically ourselves, is where our light lives.
And in a world where it’s hard to make connections, hard to maintain friendships, hard to find a community that feels like home, you only find your people when you’re truly being yourself.

All your weirdness.
All your struggle.
All your joy.
All your power.

Every class, every ride, every breath is proof that consistency and courage can rewrite your story.

What we say to ourselves matters.
We have the power to change the story someone else once wrote for us.

Some days don't you want to dance like everyone is watching? Two weeks ago was our pandemic anniversary. The honor of having @nicolescherzinger a Tony Award-winning artist, a member of one of the greatest girl groups of all time, and a performer whose voice has helped sell more than 55 million records, sing in my class is something I’II never forget.
Moments like this remind me why I do what I do.
Music has always been more than entertainment.
It’s been a lifeline. It has the power to lift us when we’re down, help us find ourselves when we’re lost, and bring together people from every background through joy, vulnerability, and shared experience.
To share a room, an experience, and an energy fueled by music with someone who has helped shape its history was truly one of the highlights of my career. More than anything, it reminded me how special this community is. Community isn’t just part of what we do. It’s what keeps our studios alive. It’s the reason people come back, the reason they stay, and the reason so many of us find a second home within these walls. As a queer person, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is to find spaces where you can show up exactly as you are. Spaces where you’re celebrated, not tolerated. Spaces where your strength, your vulnerability, your joy, and your individuality are welcomed. That’s what this community has always meant to me, and that’s what I hope every rider feels when they walk through our doors.
For those of us who teach, this is a passion business. We don’t do it because it’s easy. We do it because we believe in people. We believe in connection. We believe in the magic that happens when a room full of strangers becomes a community. I genuinely can’t imagine myself doing anything else.
Especially during Pride Month, I’m reminded that our greatest strength has always been each other.

Today marks 10 years @soulcycle Almost 9000 classes and counting and it is still about the people. The people who remind you that you’re capable of more than you realize. It’s not about being perfect and doing everything right, It’s about proving to yourself that you’re stronger than the doubts and fears that try to hold you back. It’s about the people who encourage you to transcend the limitations you once thought were immovable. It’s the shared fight where expectations are shattered—not just the ones others have for you, but the ones you’ve unknowingly placed on yourself. It’s a reminder that in this world in this life we are wired to struggle but we are worthy of belonging worthy of love and we were never meant to do it alone. To anyone who has taken any class with me, it’s a reminder that you are never to old you are never not strong enough and it is never too late to find your people by @btoned
