Door games are basically a boss fight before you’re allowed to marry the final level. Push-ups? Check. Trivia? Check. Changing baby diapers and cleaning the windows? Also check. 10/10 these door games were hilarious and would watch again 😂

Door games (拦门/接亲游戏) are a playful Chinese wedding tradition that happens on the morning of the wedding. Before the groom can enter the bride’s room, the bridesmaids “guard the door” and make him prove he’s worthy — through physical challenges, trivia about the bride, embarrassing dares, and handing over red envelopes (hongbao) as a symbolic toll. It’s meant to be chaotic and fun, but it also carries meaning: showing the groom’s effort and devotion before the marriage officially begins.
