Registration is officially open for Cycle AZ 66 - and the Mother Road is calling. 🚴🛣️

Saddle up for a fully supported 62-mile out-and-back down Historic Route 66, from Kingman to Valentine and back, October 17, 2026. A metric century timed with Route 66’s 100th birthday and the I Heart Route 66 Festival. Roadside attractions, desert landscapes and the open road doing what it does best.

We’ll roll past some roadside legends that made this highway famous. Say hi to Giganticus Headicus and refuel at Valentine Station - because a ride down the Mother Road isn’t complete without a few detours into its quirks.

Early bird pricing is live now at $115 through August 31, 2026

Enjoy the ride, make the stops, collect some new memories. 🌵

Let me guess, your bike has a flat tire, and that’s why you can’t ride.

That excuse won’t work during Valley Bike Month! 🚴‍♀️🌵

Here’s a list of bike shops who would be more than happy to get you back on the saddle for a ride this month.

Whether you’re fixing that flat, upgrading your ride, tuning up your gears, or just getting started, these local spots have your back:
🔧 Expert repairs & tune-ups
🚲 Quality bikes & gear

🌄 Local trail knowledge you won’t find anywhere else!
Support local, ride more, and soak in those Arizona views 🌅

Our list of bike shops in the Valley is always growing. For the most up to date list, check out bike shops on our linktree or visit btwphx.com/bikeshops

Don’t see your shop on the list - add it through the bike shop submission form found on our linktree or at btwphx.com by @btwphx

I felt so proud seeing so many friends bike Route 66 for their centennial celebration. Cyclists faced harsh headwinds and moved through Hualapai land. Completing a total of 62 miles; a truly beautiful day of seeing human activity on the land, non car-centric.

I spent a good part of the day hanging out at an aid station for cyclists. We were stationed at Anteres Ppint, having a great view of “Headicus” the giant green head sculpture. Thank you for Sara Anderson and everyone else that made this day possible and beautiful! Bikes bring people together.

Some designs I worked on for the Cycle 66 event tomorrow with @activearizona my friends at @btwphx have poured so much into this ride. In addition to riding 100km tomorrow I’m proud to have contributed design, illustration and even poetry! It’s not too late to register! by @btwphx

It takes a village! 🙌

Huge thanks to @oxdxclothing for helping us get our volunteer shirts across the finish line. Our volunteers are the heart of this event, and now they’ll look the part too.

Events like this don’t happen without talented partners who show up, pitch in, and believe in what we’re building. We’re so grateful for every one of you. 💛 by @btwphx
