PALLITHOTTAM BAY - My Tribe Story Salt in the air, sand in our hair.& net in our hand🏖⛵🚢⚓🐬🐟🐠🐡🐚🦀🦐🦑🐙 I am from Pallithottam — this is not a tourist beach. This is my home. We live on a 5km natural bay in Kollam, just south of Neendakara, where the Arabian Sea folds into a quiet curve. Five fishing villages share one shoreline here, one language, and one early morning — 4 a.m., diesel, and nets. History sleeps under our sand. Chinese coins wash up with our tide, Roman glass was dredged from our port, and even Marco Polo praised our harbour. My people are different. We are named the most educated fishing community in Kollam. We read the sea with both prayer and technology — we circle the temple before our first sail, then we switch on GPS and Sonar.
