There’s a timeless video on youtube of James Taylor and Carly Simon singing this in an intimate, living room setting back in ‘71. Saw that video and recorded a take in 2018, a difficult year when I lost my dearest grandmother. Captured on a 2011 iMac webcam. For the fans, yes I know I fudged some of lyrics #bu_yaseenarchive #jamestaylor #carlysimon taken in Kuwait City by @bu_yaseen

OCT2020 Sanad, Bahrain | Sleepy rendition “Feels like home” by Randy Newman. I’m not usually big on musical theater numbers but I’ve always loved this song. First heard it sung by Bonnie Raitt on old 2011 youtube #bu_yaseenarchive #bonnieraitt #randynewman #feelslikehome taken in Sanad, Bahrain by @bu_yaseen

Spent some unexpected time in the hospital, happy to be back home now. الحمدلله I’m ok. I’m grateful for everyone in my life and for my family. I think I tend to close myself off sometimes. I’d like to be more present and open, and share more. Hope you enjoy and take care of your health! Love, Y. taken in Kuwait City by @bu_yaseen
