Every year, Terriers and members of the BU community gather in Lenox, MA, for an Annual Day at Tanglewood. The program, which celebrated its 49th iteration over the summer, highlights the phenomenal talent of our students (and some visiting guests). We're looking back through the history books to appreciate the longstanding tradition of BU's Tanglewood Institute—something that wouldn't be possible without the generous support of our 1839 Society members.

At this week's Matriculation ceremony, Boston University welcomed 3,722 new Terriers. In a packed Agganis Arena, full of scarlet and white T-shirts and beaming smiles, President Gilliam urged the incoming freshmen to—in the spirit of Howard Thurman (Hon.'67)—embrace their shared superpower: finding common ground. Welcome to BU, Class of 2030! ❤️🐾
