Shay’s Steaks in Philly!
bub: First time having true philly cheesesteak. Pretty good I liked the sesame bun but I think they got our order wrong and forgot the spicy peppers. 7.6/10
flub: I think they gave us the wrong order ngl. I ordered something with peppers and garlic jalapeño seasoning and I just got a regular cheesesteak which was still very good and more flavorful than Angelo’s, but portion size was much smaller. Flavor 8.8/10, overall 7.2/10 by @bub.and.flub

White dog cafe in Philly!
bub: omg exterior is super cute. Sitting area outside restaurant and next to Philly law school. Fried pickles and peach with basic ricotta bruschetta was BOMB holy cow 9.2/10. I got the spicy lamb bolognese rigatoni 9/10 - super yummy, good lamb flavor without the stink and had this basil whipped feta - not spicy tho which is sad. Also got red wine sangria which was super yummm overall 8.9/10
flub: The bruschetta was bussetta 9.5/10, fried pickles were so crunchy and seasoned 9/10. Pan fried salmon with garden veggies was pretty good but not amazing 7/10. Overall 8.3/10 by @bub.and.flub

Ahgassi Korean BBQ and Mixue in NYC!
bub: bonchan was super yummm. The steamed egg was super good and the meats were good as well. I still think I like gooyi gooyi more but def good spot. 8/10
Mixue was super cheap! Only $4 ish dollars for a Sunday. Around $1 for a soft serve. Must get the matcha 8.8/10
flub: delicious cold tofu bonchan, very nicely marbled meats, crispy water. Would also say not as good as gooyi, but definitely up there for kbbq. 8.4/10
Mixue was just as cheap as in China. Matcha strawberry sundae was da bomb so nutty and creamy, not too sweet by @bub.and.flub

Mitr Thai Restaurant in NYC!
bub: I liked the roti. Kinda flat but super yummy curry to dip into. The pad see ew was bomb but a lil salty. The drinks were lowkey ahh. Give it a 7.9/10
flub: Loved the matcha pandan drink very good pandan flavor. Roti could have been more poofy but still very buttery and delicious overall. Flavors of pad see ew and beef short rib had lots of depth 7.9/10 by @bub.and.flub

Timmy’s brown bag in Placerville!
bub: had the chicken satay sandwich with peanut butter and a bunch of stuff. Even tho it was wet it was kinda dry. The chicken was dry and hard to chew and the peanut butter made it hard to chew but the flavor was pretty good. But the bees really liked it. 6.8/10
flub: I had the bbq pulled pork waffle sandwich. It was very heavy but delicious. I’ve never had Mac n cheese in a sandwich before. I give it a 7/10 by @bub.and.flub

Pizzeria Cardamomo in Redwood City!
bub: omg maybe the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to. They make EVERYTHING in house. We had homemade bread and their infused oil. Super good 9/10. Then had their fresh spaghetti pasta with spicy meatballs 8.9/10. Then had their italoamericano pizza (think it was on their specials) had burrata, tomatoes and hot honey. SO CRISPY at the bottom 10/10. Then we had a tour of the pizza oven and met Momo the owner. Had strawberry tiramisu for dessert 7/10. Overall 10/10 holy cow experience.
flub: Went here after walking around the whole block and found the perfect spot. Had outdoor seats so we got to enjoy the fresh air with some delicious olive oil and sourdough appetizer. Had a spicy spaghetti and meatballs with fresh made spaghetti noodles so chewy and bouncy. Pizza was the star of the meal having perfect crispy bottom with NO FLOP. Even with heaping amounts of toppings the pizza did not flop at all. Chef Momo takes the utmost care into every dish where intention and passion create a truly one of a kind pizza!🍕 9.5/10 by @bub.and.flub

MAZRA in Redwood City!
bub: got the raspberry lemonade 8.3 - nice tartness and sweetness. Got the double kebab plate - mushroom and filet mignon with Arabic salad and Greek yogurt - 7.8/10
flub: BURRRP the chicken shawarma wrap is insanely good and def worth the price for what you get. The lamb was super tendy and juicy. Sauce was super delicious 8.8/10 must COME by @bub.and.flub

Pings bistro in Cupertino!
bub: place can have some super spicy foods and a little on the oiler side but flavor super good. Some dishes can’t change spicy level even if it says you can. Fav dish was rice cake one and mushroom 7.8/10
flub: I asked for the spiciest dish but they gave me a numbing spice. I wish they clarified. Besides that my fav dish is the stir fried rice cake with pickled cabbage and also the potato stew with chicken. That was the most flavorful dish I had super yummy would get it again. I give it a 7.2/10 bc I had a bad poopy time by @bub.and.flub

little shucker in SF!
bub: honestly couldn’t eat much cuz I’m allergic to 90% of menu but the focaccia bread was decent 7/10. Still got allergic reaction cuz of cross contamination tho
flub: I would not go if I didn’t have chase credit. Prices are pretty expensive for pretty small portions. The seafood was very fresh but none of the flavors were that outstanding 6.8/10 by @bub.and.flub

yeobo darling at Menlo Park!
bub: I liked the Galbi the most but that’s just bc I love Galbi. It was really tender and flavorful. The scallion croissant was the next best - flaky, soft and yummy pork floss butter 8.9/10
flub: scallion croissant was very fluffy and crispy on the outside. Delicious. The somyeon pine nut noodle was very nutty and delicious. The crispy anchovy rice was very rich umami delicious. And then the Galbi was so juicy and tender delicious. 9/10 taken in Yeobo, Darling by @bub.and.flub

Liang’s Village in Cupertino!
bub: got the beef scallion wrap sooo goood 8/10 yummy flavor and lots of meat. Brought my dad and we got “the works”. I had it before but this time there was a bit too much broth and a little too rich - 6.5/10
flub: delicious Taiwanese noodles. So chewy, bouncy, firm. Accidentally ordered the all tendon, wish I got actual MEAT - solid hmm 7.5/10 taken in Liang's Village Cupertino 梁媽媽家 by @bub.and.flub

Cafe Pro Bono in Palo Alto!
bub: the butter lettuce salad was a bit silly cuz it was deconstructed so uncut lettuce but the goat cheese was fire. My pasta was fire but nothing beats Aldo rigatoni. Plus owner was super friendly and front row seats to a car crash 7/10
flub: delish tagliatelle. Chewy and bouncy. Short rib was super favorable, meaty, soft. I thought the salad was not silly it was fine, they split the salad dish in half so that we each had a plate 8.4/10 the vibes were there by @bub.and.flub
