No one knew I had a hearing problem because when I was young, I followed my siblings. When I adopted my family, they had another dog and I had learned to follow her cues. My Hoomom had her suspicions because when she would throw a stick or toy and it would land next to me, if I wasn't looking, I didn't hear it hit and would give her the deer-in-the-lights look wondering why she hadn't thrown it yet! And lastly, even though I am clinically deaf, I do have a very small amount of hearing in one ear!

Thanks for following me! 😀

Thank you for all the birthday wishes, stories, messages, posts, etc this week... we are sooo thankful for all of you!

Sooo, I am a picky eater... ummm, let's just say VERY picky!!! I don't even eat ice. Sooo, Mom wasn't sure if i would eat it... Did you think I would eat it? Would your dog like frozen treats? Comment below!

Now for the recipes:

FROZEN YOGURT PEANUT BUTTER SNACKS

* 2/3 C. Plain Greek Yogurt
* 1/4 C. Natural Peanut Butter
*** Be sure there are no artificial ingredients or sweeteners

Mix well, put in ice trays or silicone freezer treat tray. Freeze. Feed ME more! They don't break these treats in half - they are good for you!

FROZEN YOGURT PEANUT BUTTER BANANA SNACKS

* 1/2 C. Plain Greek Yogurt
* 2 T. Peanut Butter
* 1/2 Banana, Mashed

Mix well, put in ice trays or silicone freezer treat tray. Freeze. ENJOY!

What homemade treats do you make your dog?

Share with a dog lover that would appreciate this!

Don't listen to them... hahaha...

I am actually a very good boy, but am unlike most labs - I HATE car rides... with a passion. Does your dog love them or hate them?

Yes, Mom is sick... and sitting around together, we were wondering where that idiom - sick as a dog - came from and what it means. Sooo, we looked it up!!! At first, we thought because dogs lay around a lot during the day, but it actually came from the early 1700's when there was very little vet care for dogs and they had many sicknesses, including mange, parasites, etc. that weren't treated back then. Dogs were many times skinny and sickly, if they even made it through the puppy diseases. WOW!!!

Veterinary care has been a huge boost for dogs and all animals! Thank a vet today!

And wish my Mom a speedy recovery!!!
