Ahhhhh here we go! I’ve been putting this off for a while, I don’t know why, just shy maybe? But it’s finally time to introduce myself here - so HIIIIII I’m Mahealani (Mahea for short) and I am the owner of Bubble Social Balloons 💁🏽‍♀️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I run BubSoc from Eugene Oregon, out of my three bedroom townhome, and with the love and support of my amazing husband 🥰 No he doesn’t mind the balloons everywhere, unless there’s literally no way to the kitchen, and somehow he’s mastered sleeping peacefully through the sound of my inflators 😅 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I started BubSoc in 2021, it is my full time job, and definitely the most fun job I have EVER had! Here are some fun facts about me and answers to just a few of the awesome questions that some of you asked:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀1. I am obviously a Gemini, seeing as today is my birthday. But also because I am obviously a Gemini. Like, to a terrifying T… ♊️2. My favorite Ben & Jerry’s flavor is Half Baked. 🍨3. If I had to eat one food for the rest of my life it would probably be bread 🥖 that’s it… just ✋🏽bread 🤚🏽 4. Despite my very Hawaiian name, I was born and raised in Oregon, but I AM Hawaiian and we try to get back and visit family every couple of years. 🌺 5. My favorite Office Episode is a three-way-tie between ‘The Job’, ‘Dinner Party’, and ‘Safety Training’. I think… IDK I love almost all of them (obvs not ‘Scott’s Tots’ or ‘Prince Family Paper’, I’m not insane) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Thank you all for following along on my balloon-journey! Celebrating someone extra EXTRA special!! 🥹 Today is my dad’s birthday AND his retirement celebration 🥳💙👋🏽 68 and a free man! I am so lucky that he’s my dad, he’s one of my biggest supporters and has taught me so much, personally and professionally. I would not be the business owner or woman I am today, without him.
