A few months ago, I got in touch with @thypoch_official, and they were kind enough to partner with me and send over their M-mount Simera 75mm f/1.4 for testing.

I had the pleasure of putting the lens through its paces in a variety of environments, from landscapes to street photography, during my trip through Tuscany.

This is a selection from a single roll of expired Fujifilm Superia X-TRA 400, shot across Florence and San Gimignano, all taken on my Voigtländer Bessa R3 paired with the Simera 75mm f/1.4.

A little bit of Tuscany, a slightly unpredictable roll of film, and a lens I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know.

From a roll of Kodak Colorplus 200 captured on the @thypoch_official Simera 75mm f1.4 and the @leica_camera Summilux 50mm f1.4.

Walk with me through the charming town of San
Gimignano and relieve some moments from a variety of different sceneries. ✨

I still do not know why the film turned out so
underexposed and grainy, but oh well, that's part of
the analog game i guess.

From a roll of a 35mm Kodak Gold 200 in my Mamiya 7ii.

It has been on my mind for a while now to give this aspect ratio a shot and try to incorporate my hometown with such compositions, and i feel like the lakeside was the perfect set and setting for this.

Luckily for me, the Mamiya 7ii has the capability to be able to load 35mm inside without much hassle and you can easily get these panorama style shots. Takes a bit of inner visual imagination to know what will make it in the shot, but if you pick the right scene, it comes with ease.

Let me know how you like this style and overall this aspect ratio. I do find it quite cinematic myself✨

Stumbling upon an old villa in the Tuscan countryside, was definitely a sight to behold and something i eagerly wanted to capture on film.

Equipped with the @thypoch_official Simera 75mm f1.4 and @kodak Gold 200, it definitely did the set and setting justice.

Coming back after a post break with a simple self portrait from the past month at my home in Leipzig.

I've come to enjoy the Leica M3 a lot, as its barebone nature is exactly what i look for in a camera. Bright viewfinder, no lightmeter, no shenanigans, just pure manual analogue enjoyment.
