Why to rehearse Tango Escenario in the studio with aircon when you can do it in 30+ degrees heat under the sun on the beautiful streets of Tel Aviv?

When you and your partner live in different countries you appreciate moments of practicing together way more. 3500 km (very open embrace!) — this is the distance between London🇬🇧 and Tel Aviv🇮🇱. So the last 5 month since we formed a couple became not only racing with time but fighting distances. And we keep going 💪 till the next practice together 💫 by @bubismisha

And the better you do it, the longer your partner spins. Vicious cycle it is 🤦‍♀️

Despite all this our giros are getting better, especially after tips from @aldanaydiego at @tangotoistanbul. For example how to make the energy continue for fast giros and support your partner.

If you also struggle with Giro women technique get ready. We work on this and other fundamentals on Sunday technique classes at @tango.core. Bookings for May 4 weeks course already open with early bird 🦢 price, don’t miss out 💗 Link in bio 🖇️

Or drop me a message 💌 if you want to dive deeper and get more tailored advice during private classes.

And to all the followers during Giro — May the power be with you 💪💪💪🌹 by @bubismisha

@tangobsesion85 — stealing the spotlight 😂

Dunno why when we film our dancing camera always wants to switch to film Juan instead 👀

Second extract of our show in Israel ✨✨✨ 🌪️ (Colgada) Edition

Colgada is about precision, energy and perfect balance within the couple. Every time I do it, the hardest bit so far is not how to get to the right position (weight distribution, direction, shape).

It’s how to NOT PANIC 🙀 and keep this position till the end, getting out smoothly on the exact moment. And the longer Colgada goes — the harder it is to hold off the panic mode. When short I may not even realise Colgada is happening before it’s already over. But here it’s quite a long one (at least while dancing it feels like ages 🙈). So here I go, calming down my nerves 😌

Stage addiction ✨✨

Behind the curtain look at yesterday performance in Israel 🇮🇱 Thank you @pershtein for the invitation to perform with you and your team on such an incredible show 🌟❤️

Performing on stage for me is one of the best feelings in the world. It’s magical and thrilling. Stages are different and this one in particular is a concert stage, not a competition one. And it adds a social flavour. I would not say it’s less pressure, as you want to dance your best and want the audience to enjoy. And even as it’s not an “official” competition your performance will be judged anyways. But still, dancing on the concert stage allows more freedom, creativity and expression, rather than focusing more on technique.

Do you feel any difference between dancing competition vs concert on stage yourself?
