Over Heritage Weekend in September 2026 @ikigai_thathu took our T-shirts on tour from Cape Town to Johannesburg, turning the landscapes and special corners of this route through South Africa into the photographic set for Gallery Naidoo: a vehicle for messages of liberation, unity, joy and hope.

One of the great joys I’ve had this year has been getting back into styling/creative direction. And this past weekend, driving from #kapa2jozi was probably the most intense, fun, rewarding creative project I’ve ever worked on.

Meeting, connecting, working and forming a friendship with @theme_raki and @l.mukunza has been one of the greatest parts of this new journey for me. Together, we have formed a creative trio, @ikigai_thathu - follow us! These boys are amazing - talented, kind human beings, and they will add much much more to the South African creative and fashion scene in years to come. Big shout out to @caraa.0_0 for joining us (and putting up with the boys!).

A very big thank you to everyone who contributed to making the Remi Foundation’s seventh annual stationary shop a success, making a real impact in our community through education

We are so honoured to continue to start every year this way, filling trolleys with stationary and uniform for all of our scholars, ensuring they have everything they need to thrive for that school year

Every year we see this as our busiest time of year, but it always remains true the it is our duties that fill us with the most joy, giving the team behind the Foundation the push to continue fundraising for all the school fees to come throughout the year

Everything we do is to see a difference, and as we welcome our three Waverley girls into matric, we are so incredibly proud of them and everything they are about to achieve

The Foundation’s sixth annual stationary drop, making a real impact in our community

This is how we start every year, running around and shopping for all of our scholars, making sure they have the right stationary for their subjects, and the right sized school uniforms

It’s our busiest time of year, but the one that fills us with the most joy, ensuring our scholars have all the tools they will need to succeed in their upcoming school years

After this meet up, where we hand over all the stationary and school uniform, we wish them well, and get back to our fundraising goals, ensuring we can pay for school fees, mentorship and tutoring

This is no small task, as our Foundation has been active in our communities for six years now, and soon, we’ll be growing, and adding more ways we can grow our scholars
