Each year, @bloodcancerunited launches its Visionary of the Year campaign, bringing together leaders and advocates to accelerate research and save lives. Heather is honored to be a 2026 candidate and to share her story as part of this effort.

In August 2024, my sister Heather @heatherb3628 was diagnosed with blood cancer and THANKFULLY she’s still with us!

But we owe her life to research.
-
Breakthroughs in blood cancer research have transformed treatments for many other cancers and diseases and it’s our chance to pay it forward.

We are on a mission to raise $50,000 by May 1 in order to fund a full research portfolio. This would not only save lives, but spread awareness of it’s critical importance.
