When the boyfriend’s awesome 13 year-old asks you to help him make a custom robot for his Dad’s 45th birthday, you say hell yeah…..Made in secret over the course of a month, Dez knocked it out of the park from design, assembly, and paint, including custom molding and casting from some additional borrowed molds. No surprise he was a natural in adopting some of his pop’s own techniques! The apple doesn’t fall far. Happy birthday @jessegeearts @munkmarvelous you are so very loved and admired ❤️🤖

Whelp. Startin’ to post progress pics from over the years. This, another unfinished attempt at learning anatomy via sketching interesting and inspiring faces. Neat that I slowly develop an understanding of what I coulda/woulda/shoulda done. But alas, onto the next one 😎 I’m a stickler for eyeballing, which results in some hopefully fun wonkiness 😵‍💫 last time I touched this was 1 year ago today. Woo!

Whelp. We had to sell Sue’s peg leg to raise enough funds for the league. Lurlene lost a bunion pullin’ out our signature “human ramp”maneuver which cost us the damned game…
But it was an incredible birthday nonetheless 😁

My heart is full and endlessly thankful for the golden humans that fill my life with joy and fake cigarettes. A special shoutout to @kelsiephraim and @munkmarvelous who never cease to be masters of generosity and coordination. And to the rest of these gutter balls! I love ‘em so. by @buckaroo_bonz

Wheeelp, needless to say life has been quite the adventure (across the 8th dimension) alongside @munkmarvelous who is full of more and more surprises at every turn…

When told to dress like “Pee Wee” I was already brimming with excitement at the prospect of what this might behold, but after being led to the Sepulveda Dam…I knew I was in for a very special treat. A trip to the filming location of one of my favorite end credit sequences of one of my favorite films (and my very own ig namesake…) Buckaroo Banza!
‼️‼️‼️

Of course Jesse came prepared with Jeff Goldblum’s New Jersey getup, and I was already ready to go as Peter Weller, Buckaroo himself. Even more adventures ensured, including failed attempts to scale the dam wall, potential ilicit art, some smudged lipstick, and lots and lots of laughs.

As someone who has always thoroughly enjoyed dressing up, bein’ silly, and indulging my weird niche fandoms, it sure is nice to be supported, indulged, and accompanied through the tomfoolery!

I thaaank ya Jesse, YAAAAAAH! 🤠

**FUN FACT: AGGIE GUERARD was costume designer for both Pee Wee’s Big Adventure & Buckaroo Banzai, and thus the repeat grey suit/red bowtie as well as the red cowboy with sheepskin chaps! taken in Sepulveda Dam by @buckaroo_bonz
