![This Akron spot serves up good food and plenty to explore 🍔🍗🏀
We enjoyed a Cleveland day trip this past weekend visiting Akron, Ohio. One of our stops was @housethreethirty a multi-use community space created by the LeBron James foundation.
This is such a beautiful and cool space and seemed to be a well loved by the community. There is cozy seating, secret spaces, a museum, a theatre, a sweets shop, beautiful rental spaces, and what we were there for: @buckets.restaurant [*hosted visit]
Here’s what we got 👇
🥗🥚 We started with The Deviled Strip and the House Caesar. Nathan loved the deviled eggs, and we shared a huge salad with tangy Caesar dressing and croutons that were soft with just a little crunch.
🍗 The Tenders were my pick, and they were huge! Three juicy lightly seasoned tenders, fries, mini cornbread muffins with cinnamon butter, coleslaw, and sauces served in a short bucket. Make sure you’re hungry.
🍔 Nathan went for the Akron Hammer burger and enjoyed the flavor. These were smash style burgers, and the cheddar dusted crispy onions were a nice touch.
🍪 We wrapped up with The Kid from Akron’s Cookie, a skillet cookie with homemade cookie dough, vanilla ice cream, and caramel drizzle served warm. This was decadent.
🥤 I also had to get the cherry strawberry soda from Norka, an Akron company and one of my favorite flavored sodas 😍
Between the food, friendly staff, unique spaces, and little details (like the menu’s nod to LeBron’s #23 👀), this was such a fun stop on our Akron day trip. Can’t wait to share more.
