Tiger Lacey’s 2014 Kx450 rebuild for @221lynx by @buckmountainracing

Let the restoration begin on Tiger Lacey’s kx450 for his son @221lynx 😎👊🏼🔥🏆 by @buckmountainracing

It’s Tiger Tuesday 🏆🕊️ 221
.
Let’s get to know Tiger a little bit to understand just how cool this restoration build is on this 2014 Kx450.
.
In the Pacific Northwest there’s an urban legend at every motocross track that will still come up around any fire, any conversation or any “Remember when”.
.
That urban legend is Tiger Lacey #221 he rode professionally as a privateer with many sponsors as well as a satellite factory team rider for @mdkmotorsportssx and @motosportinc
.
He was beyond talented on a motorcycle. Clean, aggressive, fast and just made it happen. Typically always with a smile on his face just stoked to be there and ride. This is Tiger 🏆 by @buckmountainracing

This is what it’s all about! Thank you to all of our customers, excited to keep helping and growing into 2027. by @buckmountainracing

The TL221 project has begun for @221lynx .

Wheels are heading to @buckmountainracing for a full over haul

Comment below and tell us what we should do? Should we cerakote or anodize hubs? What color? Let us know by @buckmountainracing

Moto toolbox I built a few years ago, I’d make some changes now but overall it gets the job done.

Top section is screwdrivers, wrenches and sockets for most common axle sizes. Along with misc plug wrenches/wire brushes/carb tools and pens. Left top drawer is misc tools, Middle is pliers/wire ties/spoke wrench and bottle opener because you never know! Right side all needed tire changing tools.

Most used drawer! Hammers and punch, mini wrenches, 1/4 sockets and Allen set. My favorite T-handle along with 1/4 ratchet and extensions.

Most common wrenches I use along with crescent/allen set and picks.

Mostly misc tools, 1/4 Snap On gun, Caliper and a air pump. by @buckmountainracing

This is going to be a very special restoration 🙏🏼🕊️ #tl221 #tigertuesday
.
For those in the motocross community who knew @tigerlacey this was the very last bike he owned before tragically passing away in December 2013.
.
The restoration project is for his son @221lynx who is absolutely living up to his father’s legacy while also creating his own. It is very special and I’m honored to be part of this as I looked up to Tiger as a young teenager here in the Pacific Northwest like so many others. His style was so clean and he rode the bike with GRIT 🔥🏆
.
So please follow along with this project and stay tuned as we will be collaborating with other builders who knew him to create a special memorial build for his son @221lynx to enjoy and ride in his memory. 🏆 by @buckmountainracing

What an incredible weekend!

Our first Moto Outpost Girls Camp was everything we hoped it would be and more. Watching these girls gain confidence, make new friends, and improve their riding was so rewarding.

A HUGE thank you to our amazing coaches, @8jaylie8 and @avrie_berry .You both were absolutely incredible. The girls connected with you so naturally, learned a ton, and had so much fun doing it. We couldn’t have asked for better role models.

To all of our riders and families—thank you for trusting us, bringing the best attitudes, and making this weekend so special. Your support and enthusiasm are what make events like this possible.

A big thank you to our awesome sponsors @dirtbandit_products, @buckmountainracing , @dirtyboyslifestyle and @motocreatedgraphix for helping us put together some killer swag bags for all the girls!

And of course, thank you to @kristarosemedia for capturing all the memories with such amazing photos.

We already can’t wait for the next one!
