This is Bean!! 🤎

Bean joined our family about a year after Bucky, and getting a second cat turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. He and Bucky were inseparable.

Bean was incredibly sweet, with not a single bad bone in his body. Maybe not the brightest — but endlessly funny. He loved curling up against me on the couch and was obsessed with human food, especially yogurt and cucumber. With his unique chocolate-colored fur and striking orange eyes, he stole the hearts of everyone 🧡

In October 2025, we had to say goodbye to our sweet Bean 🌈🤍 after he unexpectedly became ill and was taken from us far too soon. He is missed every single day.

Even though he’s no longer with us, Bean will forever be part of our family. By sharing him here, he gets to live on a little longer — in our memories, in our hearts, and in all the little moments that will never fade. So you’ll still see him pop up here from time to time 💓 taken in Netherlands by @bucky_bean_loki

Last but not least… Loki 💚

After dreaming of getting an Oriental Shorthair for years, Loki joined our family last December 💓

Loki is full of energy, a little crazy, and demands attention 24/7. He insists on being on top of me every second of every day, sleeps under the blankets with me 🛏️, and makes sure I’m never alone. That is… when he’s not busy “redecorating” the house by knocking over vases, candles, and plants—or opening cabinets to help himself to food 👨🏻‍🍳

He loves to talk 💬. He meows all day long and screams at you every single time before dinner like he’s never been fed in his life. His name fits him perfectly. Loki, the god of chaos.
He’s a lot — in every possible way — but we love him exactly for that 🩶

Loki and Bucky have become great friends and absolutely love playing together 💓 (and of course waking me up in the middle of the night while doing so). taken in Netherlands by @bucky_bean_loki

We’ve officially hit 500 followers, so it’s time to properly introduce the kitties!!

Let’s start with Bucky; my very first cat after moving out, which automatically makes him extremely special to me 🥹💓

Bucky is smart, playful, curious, cuddly, talkative, and my personal little shadow. He loves attention, but is also perfectly fine doing his own thing and being independent when he wants to 😌

In August 2024, me, Bucky and his brother Bean moved to Seoul, South Korea🇰🇷 After six months of adventures, we made our way back to the Netherlands ✈️

Next up… Bean! 👀 taken in Netherlands by @bucky_bean_loki
