That’s Curtains on “Straight to Hell” by Amanda L. Mason for The New York Theater Festival!🎉

Thank you for everyone who came out & supported, we’re nothing without you. And congrats to the other shows in the festival & the amazing new friends who make up their casts & crew.

It’s rare to find a project that feels like home from top-to-bottom. Especially in this industry, so when you find it: embrace everything, respect it, & put on for your people.

Life outside the lens or stage.

Quote of the day:

“If I can breathe, I can think.
If I can think, I can win”

…& I will.

You could throw every award at this movie and the team it took to make it, and it still wouldn’t be enough praise.

Stfu and go see this movie ASAP.🎏

As an active participant in this industry I don’t post enough as I should but I am today. SINNERS was a masterclass. The direction, the acting, the casting, score, the writing, and everything it represented. Everything about this movie was perfection. 10/10. There is no way you could make this movie better. No notes.

Checcin in on what @jennyvasan was working on & I gotta say: this cast & crew has given Shakespeare new legs! They have shed a new light on the classic play & added so much depth & relevancy.

It just keeps getting better🕺🏾!

A few flix from The Obituary’s run in the New York Theater Festival.

One thing I’ve noticed with this group: we grow exponentially. There’s always discovery with my people & I can’t get enough of it. From cast, crew, to supporters—we evolve. Stay tuned for more…
