“The Bones and the Beads” is what I think I will call this necklace I just finished.

The necklace is finished!! I made it with bones from Caldo de Borrego, seed pods from the Kentucky wilderness, and shells from the Great Lakes.

New Necklace Project in the works!
The bones are from a Caldo de Borrego that I ate when I was very sick once. The brown “beads” are Kentucky coffee beans pods that I got in the Kentucky wilderness. And the shells are from Lake Mendota in Wisconsin. I finally got a drill so I can drill through the bones and make the necklace a reality!! Follow along the process!! #handmadejewelry

Dance is my offering to God

In 2025, I solo traveled from the foothills of the Andes in Ecuador to the Amazon in Brazil. What an honor. I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for me!!

My first trip of 2025, I started the year in Atlanta, Georgia. I always wanted to visit the Deep South, and I was honored to have done so. I ventured into a bamboo forest, welcomed this year at an Afrobeats event with dope people, toured the high museum, and did my usual wandering. The vibes were so raw.

Behind the scenes of the Alter Scene in the Void for my Toxiccc King visual.
I still can’t believe that we got to shoot this day across the hall from the PBS office at UW-Madison 😭🙏🏻 I’ve been a huge fan of PBS since I was a little kid.

The Alter scene was one of my favorites to film for the Toxiccc King visual.

Thank you again to: @thepowerzthatbe @larson.lucas and @blake_by_the_lakes ❤️❤️❤️

“Those who harm the Buddha will have their head split into eleven pieces” is a Buddhist teaching that emphasizes the karmic consequences of messing with those with spiritual gifts. In the same token, we often hear of people “unraveling”…much like the “kings” of the toxicity in our life do when we pull our energy away from them.
For this scene, I crocheted a totem of the toxiccc king…whether that be a person, an ideology, etc., to incorporate both of these metaphors to illustrate this point: pulling away that leads to an unraveling, and an energetic consequence. As you will notice, the peasant character (representing spiritual poverty from serving this “king”) is gathering firewood in the forest while this is happening 👀 to be used in the next transformation.

Thank you so much to my amazing team!!!!
To my wonderful director @thepowerzthatbe who helped me bring my vision to life, and encouraged my already large vision to be larger.
And to @blake_by_the_lakes who brought so much expertise and focus to set.
@larson.lucas for your amazing lighting work

Thank you ❤️

As a person who walks the line between two worlds: the scientific and the spiritual, this is a statement of mine that I feel unites both of those ways of thinking/being. To be spiritual is to trust in what is beyond our eyes, and to trust beyond our eyes is inherently spiritual. My goal in this statement is not to convince you to “be spiritual”, my goal is to show you that you already are.

A special thank you to @cct.23 for printing my design for me!! ❤️

These prints are currently available for $5 ☺️
