✨ What a night ✨

Thank you to everyone who came down to our showcase last Wednesday, it was incredible to see so many people supporting independent music and our artists.

We’re so proud of what we achieved as a team and couldn’t be happier with how the night turned out. These photos capture just a few moments from an evening filled with amazing performances, great energy, and lots of new music.

A huge thank you to our artists for sharing their talent with us, to everyone who attended, and to @bimm_berlin for helping to make this happen. Also to everyone who helped support this event that night!

Here’s to many more nights like this.

✨ About the track “Stare”✨

The song captures the feeling of being frozen in a moment with someone you can’t stop thinking about.

Inspired by the chords of “Tudo Que Você Podia Ser”, the track explores the tension between desire and hesitation — wanting to get closer to someone while questioning if the feeling is mutual. The verses move through an inner monologue of fears, possibilities, and overthinking, while the chorus leans into the honesty of simply being stuck in someone’s gaze.

As the song unfolds, dreamy instrumentals and a slower tempo build into an emotional release, ending in a heavier final chorus where everything held back finally spills out. “Stare” romanticises the feeling of stillness — being caught in a single moment while the world keeps moving around you.

OFFICIAL SINGLE RELEASE ON MAY 8TH.

Our next release is on the way.

R/CCO — born Merlin Ricco Laudien — is a musician and artist from a small town near Hamburg. He began his musical journey through formal guitar training before expanding into self-directed learning across multiple instruments, alongside music production.

Working fluidly across genres, his music is driven by exploration, with an emphasis on reinterpretation and emotional instinct, forming a cohesive and personal sonic identity.

The BUDD Records team can’t wait for you to hear “Stare”.
