This year’s #obligatoryfirstdayofschoolpic hits a little differently.

Not only is my kiddo driving himself to school, but it also hit me that after this year, I only have one more first-day-of-school picture left to take. I can’t believe my baby boy is a junior in high school. I know it’s such a blessing to watch him grow into the amazing young man he’s becoming, but this mama’s heart isn’t quite ready for how fast the years are flying by.

As if that wasn’t enough, today also marks the end of a professional chapter. After 8½ wonderful years with an incredible company, I’m closing one door and preparing to open another as I start a new adventure next week.

Today is full of gratitude, excitement, nostalgia, and all the emotions in between.

Praying for a safe, successful, and joy-filled school year for all the students, teachers, and families heading back to school.

Here’s to new beginnings, cherished memories, and embracing the next chapter—even when it tugs at your heart. Here’s hoping this next season brings growth, joy, and reminders that the best is still yet to come. ❤️ by @buddycovington_son
