We had a mini adventure in San Diego today and the day couldn’t have been more beautiful! We started hella early, not a spot of traffic to be had…flew right down, made it to the Mexican Consulate with lots of time to spare. We then wandered over to Crazee Burger in North Park. We had the place to ourselves for a while. We met the owner and had such a good time! The food was so good! The drinks, chefs kiss. The adulted for a seconded to get a touch of shopping at Costco done and then back home in time to attempt to see the Artemis II coming home. Finally my favorite sweet treat before dinner hehe

This morning I woke up early, grabbed a cup of coffee and started reading my book. After about an hour or so…i wandered outside to watch the sunrise and listen to the birds, completely forgetting to take photos. I then folded laundry and started a load. Its a wonderful way to start the morning and I am smiling as I log into work and start my day.

The Core 4 did a COLOR HUNT 🎨✨

And honestly… we have fun no matter what we’re doing, but this tapped into our creativity in such a cool way. It truly opened our eyes to just how FULL of color the world really is.

So what’s a color hunt?

Each person gets assigned a color (we picked for each other 👀), and for two weeks we had to capture 12 photos of our color out in the world.

Shaloe – Blue 💙
Shasta – Red ❤️
Torri – Chartreuse 💚
Me – Coral 🧡

Y’all… I ended up with 48 coral photos and had to narrow it down to 12! Once you start looking for your color, you see it EVERYWHERE. And not just your own, I started noticing blue, red, and chartreuse all around me too.

It’s wild how intentional focus shifts what you see.

Highly recommend trying this with your people. Creativity, connection, and a fresh perspective on the everyday. 🌈✨

Anyone else’s mom clean the house in the nude while blaring Peter, Paul and Mary? No just mine… 🤣

My mom made my childhood magical. She hid her trauma and anger well when I was younger. Unfortunately she got dealt a rough hand and later it got harder to keep a secret. I usually don’t post about her, I keep it to myself but this year I am remembering more of the magic and less of the ugly and I miss her so much. I have also learned it’s ok to love her so much and be angry all at the same time. She helped me raise my amazing daughter and I am the woman I am today because she raised me. She brought so many interesting people in my life, some bad but so many amazing souls I got to come in contact with and learn from. Thank you for being my MOM, Happy heavenly Birthday!! I truly hope you are finally at peace. by @buddyinthefreezer

Sometimes in life a person enters that keeps you on your toes, makes you laugh often and brings you so much joy. My daughter is one of those people.

🤣 she is house sitting and taking care of my animals this weekend and I woke up to this video 🤣🤣🤣
