Senior Year and not wasting a second 🥲❤️
She’s busy. She’s involved. She’s always on the go. She gives so much of herself to her school, her team, her friends, and the people she loves. There are practices, games, schoolwork, late nights, early mornings, and a schedule that seems to never slow down.

But in the middle of all of it, she’s growing into the young woman God created her to be. She’s strong. She’s determined. She’s hardworking. She’s compassionate. She’s learning to lead, to persevere, to trust God, and to enjoy every moment of this crazy, beautiful season.

🎓📚 🐾 First Day of School! 🐾 📚🎓

And just like that… here we are. ❤️ Maddie is officially a 2nd grader, JP is starting 7th grade, and Ashlee is a SENIOR! 🥹 Three very different seasons all under the same roof!

This mama’s heart is feeling all the emotions today. Excited, proud, grateful, a little nostalgic, and honestly… not quite ready for how quickly these years are flying by.

Ashlee, your senior year is here, and I’m going to soak up every single moment. JP, I can’t wait to see what 7th grade brings. Maddie, my baby girl, enjoy every minute of 2nd grade. ❤️

My prayer for all three of you this year is that you would know who you are, whose you are, and live with purpose in every season. Here’s to a new school year, new adventures, and making memories we’ll treasure forever. 🐾 📚💚

Happy Birthday in Heaven, Mom. ❤️

Today is your first birthday in Heaven and our first birthday without you here.

This picture was the last birthday we were blessed to spend with you all together. You were so happy simply to be surrounded by your family and to be celebrating at home instead of being in the hospital. Looking back, I’m so grateful for that precious gift of time.

There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss you. My heart aches that you’re no longer here, but I find peace knowing you are whole, healed, and celebrating in the presence of Jesus.

We love you beyond words and miss you more than you’ll ever know. Thank you for the memories, the love, and the legacy you’ve left in all of us.

Another great few days at the FACTS Elevate Conference! I always leave these conferences challenged, encouraged, and full of new ideas to bring back to my school. There’s something energizing about learning alongside other educators who are passionate about serving students with excellence.

But if I’m being honest… one of the highlights was getting to meet Principal Lamb in person. 😄 #IYKYK

I am so grateful to be your daughter. Thank you for always being there for me through all of life’s changes, for your constant love and support, and for being my biggest cheerleader. No matter what life has brought, you’ve always been someone I can count on, and I am so blessed to call you my dad.

I thought selling the house would just be paperwork and signatures. Instead, it felt like saying goodbye all over again. Grief has a way of showing up in unexpected places.
