I am so darn proud of this kid, Josh Buffalow! Not only did he had the courage to switch to a private Christian school, but signed himself up for football as a sophomore. Anybody that knows him, knows that he has had a baseball or bat in his hand since he was small and wanted nothing to do with football. He decided now was the time to give it a shot. He has has a dedicated and passionate staff and amazing brothers on the field to teach him what they could in 3 weeks. He is all smiles and had a blast in his first game last night. It was surreal watching him take the field with Fred Bunnell on the mic announcing his name, as he ran on the field, in a blue jersey, and it was not a baseball jersey. This I going to be a great year! Also got to be on the grill for the first few years cooking for all the teams and families. Got to get in where you got in! @riponchristianschools

25 rods re-tied and tucked in for the night. Boat is clean, stocked, and ready for battle tomorrow. First official tourney for us together on a very tough lake against stiff competition. Excited, nervous but ready to fish with my boy and give it our best.

Long, cold, rainy, windy day and yet we had a great day!! We are pushing hard to learn how to winter fish and had to find these tricky little bastards. We get to spend time, be on the water and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Josh picked up a real nice one after like 4 hours of not a single bite for any of us. Big shout out to @christianostranderfishing for teaching us new techniques and staying positive in a tough day.

What a cold, weird and exciting day yesteday. We are trying to learn winter fishing and prepare for some tournaments this month. Besides being cold and wet, we were doing pretty well even though the bites were few and far between. About 2:00, our good buddy @frazierluckfishing wanted to come out and get some fresh air and show us how its done. Caught a few more, but then Josh got a good one before dark. The water-falls are going like crazy and the scenery is beautiful. I am fortunate to be able to spend all of this time with Josh Buffalow and be on the water together. He is fishing with a old rod that Henry Buffalow gave him with a new reel that his other grandfather gave his for xmas. Pretty cool and looking forward to many more this year.
