Stay a spell, enjoy a thimble of elderberry wine, take a walk through the stone pathways and enjoy the views. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

My latest art installation in my prestigious backyard. 😊
The tiny mushrooms and cottages are handmade and painted entirely by me, Buffy the Tiny Slayer, using air dry clay, UV resin for the windows, and manicure balls for the doorknobs.
I also did the landscaping, stone path laying, and covered the outside of the pot with garden fencing, rope, moss, as well as adding some distressing to age the wood. I’m working on some lighting to accommodate the nighttime events here. 😉🍄🎉

“Oh I know my name is Simon, and the things I draw come true”
A tiny portrait of one of my favourite childhood memories, “Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings”.
.
Been feeling nostalgic lately and this little guy keeps popping up in my head and his catchy theme song! And I f you know, you know him well. So in a frenzy late last night I needed to put him to paper, and here he is, in all of his imagination glory. 💛
.
“Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings” is a British/ Canadian children’s animated series, inspired by a series of books by Edward McLachlin that aired in Britain, Canada and the United States in the 1970’s about a young boy named Simon who had a magic blackboard where things he drew came true in the Land of Chalk Drawings, a parallel world that Simon could enter by climbing over a fence with a ladder.
Fun fact: it was narrated by Ernie Combs a.k.a. Mr Dressup when it aired on TVOntario, who was a neighbour of mine when I was a teenager in Pickering Ontario. True story!

Made from an incense stick and some aluminum and brass tape.
Measuring 5cm (1.8”) in length.

I’m in a cherry good mood today. 🍒
Why? Because it’s my birthday!
52 years young, I’m still giggling, and I don’t ever intend to stop!

New product alert!🚨 The Shark Beauty Flex Style air styling & drying system just landed on my doorstep, and I couldn’t be more excited to start using this immediately both professionally and personally!
.
This amazing drying and styling system has just about everything I need in tool for styling many different types of hair.
It has:
1. Auto-Wrap curlers, both left and right side barrels, for hassle-free curls in seconds
2. Oval Brush, for smoothing/defrizzing and adding volume and bounce
3. Paddle Brush, for straightening and smoothing
4. Styling Concentrator, for styling and drying (just a fancy term for a smaller nozzle for the hair dryer)
5. Curl-Defining Diffuser, for fast, even drying and styling for curly hair. And my favourite part is that prongs on the diffuser extend and retract for reaching and lifting the roots!!!
I can’t wait to try all of this out and will hopefully have some videos soon showing how amazing this new system works!
