So this is happening… I’ve been nominated as a Rising Star for this year’s Elle Style Awards. Honestly, I thought I’d already used up all my “rising” tokens, but life just handed me an unexpected upgrade in the fashion world. Huge thank you to @elleromania @mauricemunteanu @domnicamargescu @roxanavoloseniuc.

Feeling very grateful, slightly stunned, and genuinely humbled by this recognition.

Huge shout-out to @marapopa24 for the gorgeous outfit

& thank you to the one and only @adateslaru for being by my side

Today’s post is a throwback to an indie arthouse drama that is very dear to me. I shot it in 2019 with a cast and crew made up mostly of friends. The film explores the younger generation of women and their struggle for autonomy.
The film follows Mia, who, after a violent breakup, becomes consumed by the desire to take revenge on her ex. As her plan begins to unfold she finds herself surrounded by a group of friends who redefine what female solidarity can look like.
Mia keeps a video diary during this time which meant I had to step into her perspective and shoot much of the film from her point of view. It became a fascinating way to create a direct, almost intimate relationship between the camera and the actors.

Girls just want to have fundamental rights, but every now and then, also a bit of fun. Fashion event alert — went alongside my friend @almabuhagiar to the ELLE Style Awards @elleromania. Many thanks to @maurice_munteanu , @roxanavoloseniuc, and @domnicamargescu for this experience and rising star nomination.

Felt sexy and wild, dressed in @almazclothing — thanks to my guardian angel @adateslaru.

Thank you @endorphinlab for the fabulous dolled-up look @Alexandra_ujv for hair & make-up: @andreifelecan

Used this opportunity to play around with the camera with Alma (all the analogue shots)

And also, merry crisis to you all! by @bugarin___

As I Am Moving Ahead Occasionally I See Brief Glimpses of Meaning.

And this project was one of those. Because it felt significant and unexpectedly emotional. Because my wish was finally granted & I got to work with the talllented @bugarin___ (who I’ve known for 15 yrs, so a 15 yr old wish). Because I reunited with @biroborokaa, who I admire so much. Because I was genuinely touched when @roxevergreen asked me to be part of this (still am, still grateful). Because I hadn’t crossed paths with @loredanabadilamua angel MUA hands in a long time, and I’m so glad this was the one we came back for. Because so many generous people helped this project from idea to reality:
