Oops… I did it again. 🌊🎨

My canvas went straight into the water.
At this point, I’m not sure if I’m painting the ocean… or the ocean is painting for me.
And somehow, every splash made this piece more alive.

I thought creating the art was the hard part… 😂

600+ hours of painting. 3 original artworks. One massive 60-inch canvas. Custom pine frames… and a U-Haul because apparently my art has outgrown my car.
The behind-the-scenes reality of being a Seattle artist preparing for an art exhibition. A little chaos, a lot of love, and absolutely no regrets.
And seeing my paintings finally hanging in the gallery? Worth every second. ❤️

I didn’t know this would be my last ocean painting of the summer. … One more sunset, my paddleboard, my paint… and honestly, I just didn’t want summer to end yet.
So I stayed on the water a little longer and kept painting.

I told the internet nobody bought my art. Then this happened. 🌊🎨

Some hated my art. Others connected with it.
While they debated, I kept creating — and my original ocean painting, created on a beach in Hawaii, found its collector right there.
Art doesn’t have to speak to everyone. It has to reach the right person.

I broke my paddleboard trying to create this ocean painting. 🌊
For a moment, I thought the entire art project was over. But creating outdoors means accepting what you can’t control — waves, water, movement…and sometimes things breaking.
So I found another way and kept painting.

People thought this was AI. It wasn’t.

I created this ocean painting with real waves, real movement and real paint — letting the Pacific Ocean become part of my art process.
No perfect studio. No controlled outcome.
Just art, nature and a little chaos.
Would you have thought it was AI?
