Happy FOURTH birthday to my lil firecracker Ruthie Bean! You are the best part of my life and seeing you learn and grow this last year has healed me in ways I cannot explain. Watching the world through your eyes is a gift that I never take for granted!

You are the sweetest, most curious, and kind child and you are a joy to love! My grandma Libby used to always say to me when I was little, “you are SO precious to me” I heard her words but didn’t understand the true meaning until I had you. Ruthie, you are SO precious to me! You are a treasure to me and it is an honor to be your mom in this life.

A year in Charleston and this sums up every feeling I have.

So much gratitude to have been fully embraced by my gorgeous home state and thanking the universe for unanswered prayers and redirection in life.

If I know one thing for sure, it’s that it is NEVER too late to start over. Do it scared, do it broke, just FUCKING DO IT.

Our lives truly start when we leave our comfort zones behind and find the freedom to be just as we are.

Thankful to raise my girl in the low country where generations of my family have come before us & where views like this are just outside our door.
